Part 1. I was part of a wedding at the I & A Club this past weekend. The ceremony was supposed to be outdoors therefore there were benches set up outside for the guests. Before the bride and groom and their family arrived at the club it started down pouring rain outside. When we all arrived the benches were still sitting outside in the pouring rain and us family members and the photographer had to carry the benches in while the other family members wiped them off. Now I am not sure if it would have been the job of the staff here or not BUT if it starts to down pour on the wedding supplies I would think that maybe someone should go ahead and get them out of the rain. But not the case here. Part 2. Dinner was served an hour late. Now for a wedding this is a huge deal because there is usually a timeline of how things will happen and this was a disaster. My children were so hungry they were eating the parmesan cheese that was sitting out on the tables. The salad was served at a 10 person table with 1 bowl of salad. 10 people had to share 1 bowl of salad so needless to say half of us did not get salad. Waiting and waiting for dinner to be served while we were starving because we didn't even get to eat salad mind you, and now the time is after 8pm. We get served Lemon Chicken and Roast Beef. Now the bride and groom tested the food months before the wedding and the food was completely different the night of the wedding. The lemon chicken was so cold and tasted so awful most people did not eat the chicken. The roast beef came straight off of a cold cut meat tray with gravy poured on top of it, it was so chewy no one ate that. Rumor had it we were gonna order 500 tacos from Taco Bell so the guests wouldn't be starving. Atrocious the whole experience was. Embarrassing for the bride and groom who had clients there to support them on their big day. At the end of the night the bride and I were having a conversation with a staff member who asked " How was everything?'' We did not hide the fact that the whole night was a disaster all because of the food service delay and how disgusting the food was. The staff member said " We did throw a lot of food away" I said " Well ya think that maybe that is because it was terrible and no one wanted to eat it?'' The only thing they said was " Well it is hard to keep everything fresh and serve it in a timely fashion when it is served family style." That response is ridiculous and absurd. You cater weddings and the food always has to suck because it is served family style. OK. Part 3. I waited a week to see if the bride and groom would have gotten compensated for any of the complete inconvenience and disaster the night turned out to be (food wise) and the only thing they got was I am sorry you did not like it and I hope we do not lose you as future customers. Only the 150 guests that attended will never be future customers especially for such an event. People spend thousands of dollars on a wedding and the dinner service is a pretty big part of that so it is a pretty big deal how awful the experience was. I would not be so annoyed by the situation if the company would have even felt sorry about everything and took some money off the bill. But that is not the case. I will never recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding venue expecting good food. Sorry for you people glad you made it through the crisis but good riddance buona liberazione fate tutti schifo...
Read moreMy sister had her wedding catered by Trevi about a week ago. Unfortunately, the food was absolutely awful, along with the service. When the food sample happened weeks before, it was not at all what was presented to 150 guests, in regards to taste. It was a family style meal. The salad, mashed potatoes, and other side dishes were enough for maybe 3 people. The chicken was so cold, I don't think anyone ate it. They definitely did not have enough wait staff for the size of the wedding. You would think that the 1 year plus of planning and discussion they would have discussed this issue if it was a concern. Trevi catering only made excuses of why the food was served over an hour late & cold, everything was cold! The first table that received their food, it was cold, and it was the same for all the rest of the tables. There were guests serving food and clearing plates because it was taking so long! The guests hardly ate anything, untouched plates were cleared and still Trevi offered no compensation back. It's sad when a company doesn't value customer service, or honest feedback. They saw nothing wrong with our complaints and chose not to do anything for the huge error on their part, especially for such a special day in someone's life. I would never recommend this company, and hope other people put their money towards a better company. We understand not everything can be perfect, but for something to go so bad and there just be a "sorry" that's just not enough of a sorry when your being handed thousands of dollars to do a job. This company isn't worth the risk of having your special...
Read moreAttended a wedding at I&A hall / Trevi Catering. Food family style brought to table that we had 8 seats and were brought 6 pieces of chicken that were supposed to be lemon chicken & was just dry panko breaded baked chicken breasts. So dry needed to put salad dressing on it to make it edible before the staff hurried & took dressing off the table The roast beef looked more like regular lunch meat w/ jar gravy on it. Potatoes, pasta, & vegetable same - not enough to serve the people at the table. It was the same for all the other tables also. Quite shocking every table complained not enough food to pass plates around. Best part of dinner was the rolls. Left the wedding and stopped for fast food afterwards. The staff very slow and got aggitated quickly. The wedding cake, desserts were brought out so late, most of guests were gone & did not get any. I know this was all so embarrassing for the couple. Attendees were there to support & celebrate them, not to be an awe over the food & venue but would have been nice for them to have a better...
