Purchased three seat leather couch that reclines on both ends and 2 pillows separate totaling $2824.73. Purchase experience in store was splendid, sales rep was pleasant and process went smoothly until it was delivered. Received call the evening before that couch would be arriving, which was great, but when the two delivery guys arrived, they were extremely rushed, careless slamming couch against out door causing not one, but three small tears in the leather. Called, emailed and texted pictures of the damage to the sales rep advising her of what occurred. I was transferred to the service department who handles repairs. Long story short, they insisted these tears were on the sofa prior to purchase, it was a final floor sale and there was nothing further they could do. We were provided a local upholstery repair man's number and advised we would have to cover it. Upholstery man came out, completed repairs with 30 minutes for $150.00. We are big on integrity and honesty, and it is very unfortunate Babette's took no responsibility. We are absolutely certain without a doubt the damage was not there prior to purchased as we thoroughly examined the couch. I witnessed it being caused by the delivery guys. They rushed slamming the couch against the outside door frame damaging that as well. We were also going back Saturday for a large buffet and couple other pieces. Apparently, covering $150.00 in repairs is worth losing loyal customers. Manager also called to reiterate pictures were taken of the couch insisting they were there prior to purchase. No, they simply lack integrity and obviously take no responsibility for their delivery team. He offered zero resolution, not even for our damaged door that was painted last month, along with the exterior...

After a recent purchase of a new couch, my wife and I were in need of a new coffee table. We checked several locations, and then decided to look at Babette's in The Villages - Brownwood. We were immediately greeted by a gentleman, and proceeded to look around. A few minutes later we were greeted by very kind young saleswoman, Rachel Campbell. We explained what we were looking for and she then took us to her computer to scroll through various photos. My wife spotted the perfect unit, to which Rachel responded, "We have that table on the floor!" Rachel escorted us to the other side of the room and there it was, the perfect coffee table we were looking for! Next to the coffee table was a beautiful Tommy Bahama carved door chest. Although we had not intended on purchasing additional items during this visit, Rachel discussed the interesting piece with us, after which time we decided to buy it as well. Rachel proceeded to handle the closing of our purchases, explained the delivery and setup process, and provided us each with a cold bottle of water. We are very pleased with Babette's furniture selection, and the friendly assistance provided by Rachel. Update: The coffee table was delivered today and it looks beautiful. The delivery men were friendly and did a good job. They are to be commended. I also received a follow-up inquiry from Rachel, who wanted to make sure everything is satisfactory. I am very pleased with Babette's, and the customer care provided by Rachel. Update: I just took delivery of my beautiful Tommy Bahama carved door cabinet. I recently moved back home to Ocala, Florida. I needed a couple more pieces of furniture for my apartment. I lost count on how many stores I went into that either never acknowledged me or tried to sell me something way over my budget. One day, I was having lunch in the Villages and saw Babette's Furniture next door to the restaurant I was dining at. I walked in after lunch and was immediately greeted by friendly gentleman who put me in touch with a sales associate right away. She was wonderful. She sat down with me, and we discussed what I was looking for. We spent several minutes going over my wants/needs and she took the time to also show me choices online. I never felt pressured and although I didn't need that much, she made me feel like I was just as important as the customer furnishing their whole house. I was so happy to find my kitchen table and chairs, recliner, as well as an end table. All under my budget. She even brought out the material for my recliner so I could be sure it's exactly what I wanted. I have not received such exceptional customer service in a long time. When I do purchase a home, I will definitely be back there to buy everything. The quality is amazing and worth the price. The delivery drivers were fast, friendly, and made sure everything was where I wanted it. They were right on time when they stated they would be. I have had the best experience and can't recommend...
