What an experience! Steve is a great teacher! I learned so much more than just how to make ice cream, frozen custard and all frozen treats. He gives you practical experience, in site selection, marketing, hiring and managerial practices and also marketing! I own 3 very different restaurants (Steaks, BBQ and Chicken) and he gave me useful tips for all of my restaurants. Thank you Steve for the time, knowledge and networking with my fellow classmates. My class consisted of people from both coasts, Midwest and I am from Southwest. There was a couple from Brazil, a guy from Puerto a Rico and 2x guys from different parts of Canada. There were Gelato, soft serve, Ice Cream shops and Frozen Custard (that’s what I was there for). Steve gave practical approaches to all. There were a couple people who had been to other classes some at Universities known for ice cream and all said this was the best class they had taken. It was technical, practical and hands on. Highly recommend this course! This was our triple chocolate peanut butter Blast we made in class! Cheers George Frasher’s Family of Restaurants : )

Scoop School is a MUST for anyone who is looking to open up a frozen dessert store. The 3 day course I attended was jam packed with loads upon loads of extremely valuable information. It truly is the perfect place to start when considering going into the frozen dessert industy. If you're serious about entering this field, it's worth your time and money, I promise. Steve dives in and covers every single aspect of this line of work. You cover everything ranging from what types of frozen desserts there are, to what makes a great store location, to what types of machines you need to look into getting, to who can supply your products, to marketing and promotion of your ice cream brand, and so much more. The amount of value I gained in these 3 days was worth so much more than he has you pay. Scoop School is nothing like the traditional classroom environment. Its very hands on and interactive. It's a tight-knit environment where like-minded individuals can bounce ideas off one another and learn from each other. I'd highly recommend Steve's class.

Steve was great! He answered every question we had. The hands-on time was a great help and took any fear we had away. We meet other people that were either in the industry or thinking about going into it and they had questions that we didn't think of so that was another great benefit, He gave us great Ideas and helpful ways to do things, So glad we went. He'll make you laugh the entire time but still keep it serious. Thanks Steve!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a truly great experience attending Scoop School. ā€œHeadmasterā€ Steve was an incredible resource—his many years in the industry were evident, but what really stood out was his ability to break everything down in a way that was approachable and easy to grasp.

Our class included students from all over the world—Brazil, Puerto Rico, and all across the U.S.—with a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels. Whether someone was just beginning their frozen dessert journey or already operating a store, Steve met each of us where we were. That kind of tailored insight was much appreciated.

The three-day curriculum was ambitious, but somehow we managed to cover it all and then some. As someone in the process of opening my own shop, the hands-on exposure to different machines, production techniques, and even the basics like rolling waffle cones was invaluable. You just can’t get that kind of guidance and support anywhere else.

I came from California to attend, and I can confidently say it was worth the trip. Wildwood is a charming small town with some great spots for food and dessert (yes, I did my fair share of ā€œresearchā€), and I stayed in nearby Chesterfield, just a quick 15-minute drive each morning.

I’d absolutely recommend Scoop School to anyone considering or already working in the ice cream or frozen dessert space. I’m looking forward to staying connected with Steve—and hopefully coming back one day for my ā€œMaster’s.ā€

I attended the 3 day online live stream class. It was great! I enjoyed all the info Steve gives during those 3 full days! There was a small number of us on the video call so we were all able to ask questions throughout the sessions. Steve is entertaining and makes the class fun with personal stories and his experiences as well as tells jokes and even sings every now and then! 😁

The only downside of doing the online version is we weren't able to participate in the hands-on portion where Steve shows us all the machines and equipment and also how to make and taste tests different kinds and flavors of ice cream and waffle cones! I am currently active duty military so the the convenience of attending online and still getting all the same great information is well worth the trade off of not being there in person!

If you are thinking about starting an ice cream store or want to get a lot of good fundamental information about the process, I highly recommend and encourage you to take the Scoop School class! It is awesome!

Thank you...
