Operation Escape — Local services in Williamsburg

I never leave reviews but I really felt that this experience deserved my time to write this. My husband and I really enjoy taking our 5 children between the ages of 6 and 14 to do escape rooms. We have done at least 12 previous rooms before we found ourselves here and all I can say is WOW... it was so great that in the same visit we had to try out 2 of the rooms because we couldn't pick just one. From the customer service to the rooms everything was perfect! I have never seen so much details put into a room like they have done here. The rooms are really clean and everything is in great working condition. This is definitely like no other escape room around and I would definitely recommend giving this place a visit I can honestly say you won't be disappointed! So, fun! The rooms are so well done, beautiful, and truly immersive. The puzzles are top quality and there are so many different styles of clues in each room. My husband is in the military, and we have gone to many different escape rooms in many different states, and this business is one of the best no matter which room you pick!

While my mom was visiting from out of town, I took her to the Once Upon a Time room to show her why I was obsessed with escape rooms! She loved it! I then took 8 and 9 year old girls to that same room to introduce them to escape rooms and it was an absolutely magical experience for them! My husband and I just completed the Gold Rush room today and that was a blast! The Neverland room at their other location is just as great!

In summary...if you like escape rooms you're going to LOVE this place. Top quality in every way. Rooms, Clues, Staff, everything just the best...

We have been here as a group of 15, splitting into all 3 rooms. I did Once Upon Time this visit and came back as a group of 4 (Stranger Things) And I am returning for the last room tomorrow (gold rush). It is so hard for me to pick a favorite! The puzzles, decoration, staff, and themes are SO good in all the rooms!!! We have done most of the rooms in Williamsburg and this was hands down our favorite place as a whole. William (owner) is an amazing person! And is so accommodating, friendly, and just great to work with! He dealt with all our craziness and my calling a million times because I’m not tech savvy. Lol my friend who is also an avid Escape Room adventuress agreed that Operation Escape is her favorite place in Williamsburg. And Hampton roads. I’m sad we will be doing our last room and can’t wait until they have a new room....
