Again, someone brings something into the office that completely turns my life on its head. The madness needs to stop! My waistline can't take it! I walked into the break room to get a cup of coffee and there they were, these adorable bakery boxes. Way cute. I open the box, and BAM! The donut fairy left us a treat. OMG. The jelly filled are to die for. So good. And the weird twisty ones covered in sugar, perf with black coffee. Now listen, you can get donuts at those mass produced places if that's what you're into. Cheap. Easy. Is a donut ever really a bad donut? Not really, but you totally miss out on quality, and it matters! Frozen dough, stale outsides, and dime sized amounts of jelly filling, who wants that?! Not I. Sometimes anything will do when you're craving sugary fried dough. Sometimes a fast food joint will suffice when you're craving a burger, but when you know better you do better. Upgrade your options. Go to a real bakery. Go here. Our favorite donut place!

We go here for both custom order donuts (example in the photo, for my daughters birthday) and for just whatever they have on stock on the weekends! They have never disappointed!

The ONLY downside is the hours. They are limited right now, and I wish they were open every morning of the week.

They are high quality donuts at a reasonable price. They have so many options for those with food allergies as well! If you’re in Williamston, make sure to stop by and get you some delicious, homemade donuts!!

7/29/22 update - Wish we could give it 10 stars! Liz is always the most pleasant and fun start to my day! This morning my spouse went to get donuts and as Liz wasn’t swamped, took time to come outside and pet our dog. She (Liz) is seriously the sweetest “donut lady” (she calls herself that too! lol). We recently discovered that our oldest daughter is gluten intolerant and Google showed that Groovy Donuts was a local baker of gluten free donuts. I had trouble navigating the website so I called and left a voice-mail. I got a return call the next day when they opened and the lady was so very sweet! She called the store closest to us to verify if there were any in stock and when it was discovered that they were sold out she offered to make them for the next day waiving the 24 hour notice. It's seems like something so insignificant but for a child who's just discovered she can't have many of her former favorite this was like a dream come true.
