So last year on 2/13/21 I purchased a front loader washing machine from farmers furniture. It cost $1099 me and my fiancé have been doubling up on payments to pay the full balance out so 11/11/21 we went to make the last payments to find out that is was a mistake in the paperwork and that we owed more money ok 👍🏽 we bit the bullet and were set up with a payment plan to pay the remaining balance of $321 now when we went today to pay the last payments on the account here they go again saying another mistake was made so I paid the $120 to finish off what was told to me that I had to pay left and the manager Trish told me don’t worry about it she will bite the bullet and close my account out not even 3 minutes after we leave she called my phone asking could I come back now her and Athena are trying to make me pay more money when they told me not to worry about it because it was a mistake on their behalf. What would you do at this point because I told them if this was not my last payment they could give me a refund and come get the washing machine. Read moreGot to be the worst farmers furniture around being its "employee owned" . First let me mention they WILL HARRASS YOU. My first go round with them wasn't too bad ; I got a sectional which I paid off within a couple months so I didn't have to deal with them very long. This go round I got an entire set. Couch , love seat & recliner. All battery powered reclining. Within the first 3 months of receiving my set, the reclining on the couch went out. It stayed stuck in the out position and we couldnt get it to go back in. They came to pick it up to "fix " it which took about 3weeks for them to return it . Once returned, the reclining part they was suppose to fix started doing the exact same thing. I called immediately to let them know, they came took a picture and said they would get back up with me. NEVER DID. After about 3 months of them giving me the round around ; they called trying to "sell" me more furniture. I kindly said no thank you but you can check when they coming to fix my couch. I got told it was out of warranty and nothing they can do. Mind you this is a 4,000 dollar set. SMH. Being its employee owned, i felt some type of deal coildve been made. And to me this is what being a top notch business is all about and what keeps customers coming back again and again. With them I have never encountered a late fee nor have I broken a pay promise. Call them up, let them know you are going to be a bit late paying, setup a date to pay, keep your promise to them and everything else is smooth, it's just so simple and I am truly grateful to have found such a place that understands my needs like that. The things that I have from them has been looking and feeling just like the very first day I saw them inside the store. Don't be fooled, discover these great people for yourself, of course you will get a letter in the mail letting you know your payment is late when it is, or get that call. These things are very normal, it's the comfort of knowing they trust me to pay my bill at a later date that I can choose and follow through on the promise. You just can't get better than that.
