Yesterday, January 4th, 2024, marked my first visit to Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant, and it was nothing short of a delightful experience. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in.
The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyment of the evening, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As for the food, it was a culinary adventure that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The queso cheese with chips for an appetizer set the perfect tone for the feast that followed.
For the main course, I tried Los Amigos' new dish on the menu, El Chickis, and it was a revelation. Two succulent chicken breasts adorned with a delectable combination of melted queso, fresh mushrooms, and a burst of flavors. I opted to skip the jumbo shrimp, a personal preference accommodated graciously by the attentive staff.
The dish, served with lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, tomato, and rice, was a symphony of tastes and textures. The cost of $13.99 felt like a steal for such a satisfying meal. I left the restaurant feeling not only full but genuinely pleased with both the culinary experience and the outstanding service.
I've already decided that the next time I find myself in the area, a visit to Los Amigos will be at the top of my agenda. It's a gem that promises a delightful gastronomic journey, and I can't wait to savour more of...

I had to get up and ask the cashier to help. My quesadilla hadn’t been cooked all the way through and was cold so I requested a new one. He took the plate, came back with the same quesadilla that clearly was just microwaved. I’m aware this may seem ridiculous to review over but it’s disappointing. I don’t want a microwaved quesadilla and it’s your job as a restaurant to fix what you messed up (and to not take the cheap way out.) The other food I ordered was good but I didn’t eat the...
Read moreIt doesn't make sense... You look at it, and you're like, "I'm not going in there." But then some intangible force pulls you in because you just need a lunch place to escape to on the way home after spending your entire beach trip listening to your kids complain about the sun, sand, waves, wind, and fish (you know, the stuff that makes up a beach). But in this unimpressive oasis, you find a new you and a renewed will to continue on. Tucked between delicious tortillas and smothered by melted cheese is the hope that tomorrow offers more than today and that this chip won't...
