For the past 15 years I have butchered the deer that I have taken, but due to a shoulder injury i was not able to do that this year. I decided to use a deer processor i went to 7 different ones before I found one that would take my deer. Whiting Meats was the only available processor near me and is the most expensive place to get a deer processed at $125 up front fee. Sure the clear vacuum sealed meat with printed labels with your name on it is nice but not worth it. Thinnest steaks and smallest roasts I have hever seen. I was able to get 30lbs of ground meat, chops, and stew meat. But the price doesn't compare to what you get. Hopefully next year I will be able to butcher...
