ALDI — Local services in Wilmington

As much as we all love aldi, the great prices, healthier foods, we thank Aldi’s. However, this location needs to give the workers more breaks or something. They are so miserable. Today my daughter and I had a great day together, until we went into aldi at 1:47 and the worker acted as if it was the end of the world because I was picking out a bag to purchase. I only had $20 worth of fruit and only one man waiting behind me so I don’t see what the big deal was. She was so miserable it almost rubbed off onto me. Bleh. I work in a multitasking environment so I understand how it is to assist one customer while you have others waiting for you at another counter/window etc.. but this store had barely anybody in it and no line. There was really no reason for her attitude unless this woman isn’t getting breaks...

I really like Aldi. This one is pretty nice. It's clean, they have food. Also, my teenager was excited they had cotton candy grapes. So maybe that's a highlight. The meat looked good, and so did the produce. I personally didn't think some of the items were any cheaper than, say, another grocery store. I mean not to say all of it, but some was definitely the same. They also have cheese bread, ya know like pizza, but bread. I was super annoyed that I couldn't find much variety of pudding. Not the kind you make but in the cups. Weird statement probably, but I needed things I can eat for a dental surgery. Maybe it's there and I didn't find it. But overall I'd say...

I love Aldi. Not only is it my favorite place to shop, it's also easy when you are on the way home from work and just need some simple like fresh Jalapeños. In and out in just minutes. But the true value of Aldi is searching the season ending sales and scoring great deals. I got the best deal ever on an outdoor sectional and a fire pit. The stores are always clean and the representatives are always helpful. Don't forget your quarter. Or do what I do and just pass off your cart to someone else. Have a nice day!
