Kairos Coffee — Restaurant in Wilmington

The other day, I was waiting for a technician to call concerning a computer program I had that was not working. I had a lot of running to do, so I took my computer with me. While shopping in Dollar Tree. I asked him to call me back in 15 minutes while i went to hook up to wi-fi somewhere. I was going to head to McDonald's, but then remembered that Kairos had just opened. I ran there, plugged in and used the free wi-fi for an hour and got my computer issues resolved. They never complained that I only bought a medium chi latte (WHICH WAS WONDERFUL) and didn't leave a tip because I used all the money I had for the tea (didn't have much cash on me that day - the tea was not outrageously priced, just a broke day). I later went back and got another coffee through the drive thru and double tipped. So glad that there is now a close, quiet place to do some work without people bugging you to buy more. I got to take a sneak peek at this cool little new coffee shop in town at their private invite the day before they opened. When I showed up the place was full of excited people, and I slightly worried it may take them a while to get me and my wife's drinks because they were so packed, but to my surprise the whole staff was on top of it and prepared for the rush! We received our drinks very quickly and they tasted amazing! Everyone around us were talking about how great their drinks were. We left pleasantly surprised! I think anyone in town that wants an amazing coffee and a scone should swing by, its more convenient than having to go into Kroger for Starbucks! And plus they have a drive thru, so that will be nice and convenient, I highly recommend checking...

UPDATED: 2023….Kairos has maintained a high standard of customer care, quality product, discount programs & customer engagement. The addition of the bakery has been wonderful. Everything is delicious but we most appreciate the gluten free options as 2/3 of our family have medical restrictions.

Continuing to HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location.

2020 review: Great environment. Delicious drinks. Even my junior coffee / drink consumers enjoyed their treats. The staff were pleasant & very welcoming. Highly recommend trying this location. It’s nice to have a 3rd sit down coffee shop in town & that they are spread out. (Not counting the new Starbucks as the 4th). Note for the winter the sidewalk will potentially dangerous for walking up with the crazy...
