Novant Health Imaging at New Hanover Orthopedic Hospital — Local services in Wilmington

My imaging experience started out awful, drove all the way to Porters Neck for cat scan at 9pm to find out machine was down. Was told to go to main hospital or Wrightsville Avenue to have it done. Which is right by where I live. The story is lobng but I ended up at Wrightsville Ave and even though they knew nothing about covering for imaging 2 very kind ladies one of the ladies at the front desk and the lady on imaging went ahead and did my CAT scan and were wonderful to me. And great at their jobs. Restored my faith a bit in the hospital and I hope they both get the recognition they have earned. Novant is lucky...

It’s rare to find one great staff member but the radiology dept of the orthopedic hospital has at least three. Nurses Laura, Denise and Sarah made the appointment for my father’s spinal biopsy as easy as it possibly could be. Great personalities and a gentle touch - dad didn’t even feel the IV Denise started. They knew him and his story before we had even come in creating an atmosphere of security and compassion.
