Pagave — Local services in Wilmington

I am new in Delaware and was on a hunt to find the best salon to get a perm. I found Pagave salon and spa online, read the reviews, and the title the salon earned as BEST IN DELAWARE. The title does not hold true to me. I will give credit to the nice welcome of the employees and the products used but the competency of the hairdresser to choose which roller to use to achieve a final result was not competent enough on top of the kind of hair texture, and how to treat it. An image reference (picture) was shown to the hairdresser and was told that she can do it. Unfortunately, the perm turned out to be a disaster. My hair looked like a hairstyle that was poorly and unprofessionally permed. I should have permed it myself, use my curling iron, and saved my 100 dollars. I wanted a body, a permanent wave, not a perm that will totally come off the next day. Despite the fact I told the hairdresser I am not happy about the way it turned out, I was still asked to pay but offered to redo my hair the next week in reference to her availability. Don't you think I deserve the courtesy to pick the time that is going to work for me since it was not my fault? After the incident, I refused to go back for a PERM REDO. I will appreciate it if I get a refund of my $ 100.00. I suggest that the management train the new people on what rollers to use and how to approach different hair textures and be accountable to hold true to your title to...

I have amazingly thick, arched natural eyebrows. I like when an esthetician knows how to arch, shape, and clean a natural looking/sometimes dramatic line. (no thin or straight eyebrows over here)

Erin is amazing. She honestly does incredible work, while she will ask you what you like, and how comfortable you are with wax she can see what your eyebrows could look like or should look like if you stopped tweazing/stopped going to people who don't know how to shape brows/let them grow out.

I began going to Erin 10 years ago when she was in Newark, DE. I have traveled from Rhode Island, Maryland, and Washington DC to Wilmington, DE to visit Erin at least once a month. Her work is truly one of a kind. I recommend booking 1 month in advance to guarantee brows for the day you want.

The salon atmosphere is calming and relaxing, although it is not the biggest space (two pedicure chairs, 3 or 4 rooms for massages/facials/waxing and a bathroom) it is secluded and you can not hear one thing from the outside busy salon chatter or noise!
