I was in town for a wedding and needed a last minute pedicure. A family member suggested Saleya Nails, and despite the reviews a friend and I decided to give it a try. After signing in we were seated almost immediately in a pedicure chair. There were 4 techs, but a total of 6 customers. The lady helping us turned on the water immediately and went to help another customer. My water was ice cold, while my friends was so hot you could see visible steam. We waited almost 30 minutes for another interaction with a staff member (which is fine, they’re clearly short staffed) without any communication. While waiting we noticed various objects floating in the pedicure liner including fuzz, grass, and another unknown item. When the tech came back she wasn’t wearing gloves, and the tools to be used were sitting on top of a sterilization pouch. During our time there we never saw the tools being opened from a pouch. I decided to air on the side of caution and asked the tech if I could just do a massage with a color change and that I didn’t want any tools being used. I was told that this wasn’t a pedicure which is what I requested. I let her know it was fine, I still intended on paying the pedicure price but she didn’t need to worry about any sort of cutting/trimming. Multiple times tools were used and I continued to ask for her to stop. Later on in the appointment the tech put on gloves but wore the same pair after handling multiple customer stations, checking customers in & out , and using her phone. Fast forward to checkout I had a 20% off coupon which I told wasn’t valid for 20% but only 10% (which was listed nowhere but I wasn’t going to argue). I then presented a gift card which visibly upset the tech and received pushback on the price after the gift card was applied. I tried to pay the balance with an American Express which I was informed they don’t accept. Overall they seemed so focused on trying to fit everyone in that their customer service and communication...
Read moreby FAR THE WORSE nail salon on the planet!!!! I went there to get a fill after grabbing coffee. I should have known as soon as the lady told me that the acrylic wouldn't match to fill! YALL, this lady literally only filled the gap for my refill. So i legit had two different colors of acrylic! It was AWFUL! She cut my nails down and didn't even bother to measure them AT ALL so they were ALL uneven! I had to tell her to stop. I was NOT paying for that. Then, another lady tried to remedy the situation. I give her a chance (mistakenly) thinking it can't get any worse than this... WRONG. This lady tried filling my nails and I kid you not that freaking acrylic was piled soooooo sky high and thick!!!! It was lumpy and hideous ! SOMEONE NEEDS TO VERIFY THEIR LICENSE because there is NO WAY they are actually legit with legit licenses !!! I will never come back here and I swear if yall don't want to waste money and hours of time,...
Read moreI waited 2 weeks to write my review, since I sent out an email to solve the issue privately, but 2 weeks without a single answer is too long. It was my second time visiting (since the first one was successful), but I can refer to Bridget's review just that in my case it was classic manicure, they were so busy and I understand it but we made appointments and still didn't matter we had to wait, on top of that because they were busy they rushed into applying the nail polish, it was too thick and all the sides looked terrible! I had to remove it the same day. Terrible experience, don't waste your money and even worse, your time trying to get an answer...
