Piggly Wiggly — Local services in Wilson

Walking in you feel you have stepped back in time... Nothing flashy or fancy like some supermarkets. Just a little hometown grocery store. My mom says they have the best looking meats & pretty good prices and I totally agree. I went today and they had 85% hamburger on sale for 1.99 per lb! Which is a really, really good $! Also they have things you have to go to Piggly Wiggly ("the PIG) to get... Chocolate covered 🥜 in little clear containersb(for me), bag of green peanuts to boil...

Not a great store but okay, seems dirty. Location is not the best. They always have to have security in the store so that tells you a lot about the area. Some of the staff are friendly, most don't speak to the customers. I have found that some of the recent changes on items I purchase have gone from the Piggly Wiggly brand to a Food Club brand which is a lot more expensive. I can find cheaper prices for the same basic products at other supermarkets...

This store’s meat department has a wide variety of products. The staff is very knowledgeable. The store is very clean and well stocked. I wish the location were better, but it's worth the inconvenience, especially when making a meat purchase. They will cut steaks to order per your specs, and have very reasonable meat prices.
