SCAMMERS‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ Me and my boyfriend recently stayed here at the days inn 2/24/23- 2/26/23. For every night we stayed no matter if we got a smoking or non smoking room we had to pay and extra $50 deposit fee every night . So $150 in deposit fees . Ridiculous. I kept wondering why my money wasnt getting put back after every night. They front desk (indian guy) kept reassuring me that it would be back in my account by monday , and that is was taking so long because it was a weekend. When we checked out Monday morning I was confused on why my deposit was not back in my account when the indian guy told me it would be . I had a weird feeling so I told my boyfriend I didnt feel comfortable staying there for the week. So we decided to go stay at microtel for the week. Well monday passes no refund for the deposit. I called up there they told me it would take 3-4 buisness days . I checked everyday in my account this past week no refund . Today marks the 7th day and I have gotten no refund backs ! This is a complete scam ! I filed a report with the BBB . Someone needs to check this place out . When I called up to the hotel the same Indian man answered. He was very rude and tried to say he said it would take up to 1 week for refunds . When I have recorded phone calls from Monday -Friday with multiple employees saying it would take only up to 3-4 business days . The Indian dude is very rude . I would not stay here unless you dont want to see your money again. Someone definitely needs to shut this place down or figure something out . Coming from a family who is not wealthy we need that money . Its not cool to play with someones money. Especially when your charging $150 a night for a motel where I witnessed a few drug deals and the room beside me and my boyfriends(we stayed in 117) was definitely prostituting a girl out . My boyfriend recorded the different men entering and leaving the room . Please do not bring children here . Its very sad what this world has come to . And as for the company and the hotel . They need to be checked in on which is why I notified the BBB. This is not okay ! Im not the only one who has complained to the BBB. I look through these reviews and see this is not a one time happening issue . And the Indian dudes needs to be fired . Apparently he is the manager and no manager should treat customers with the disrespect he did . I can take a lot but this was just to much ....
Read moreI found my room to be spacious and nicely set up with a large refrigerator, small microwave, small TV, full length mirror, desk and large bed.
However, my first issue was with the lights. When I opened the door, I hit the switch for the lights, but there was nothing but darkness. So I used my flashlight on my phone to see and I discovered that I had to cut on the lights individually and that three of the lamps had been unplugged. In two of the lamps, the lights were rather dim, but I was able to manage with the lights from the sink and bathroom. I checked out the rest of the room, noting that the doors could use some paint and the curtain a bit of attention, as part of it was hanging off of the top rod. Then I tried cutting on the TV and realized that the remote would not work. I eventually figured out how to cut the TV on and off, change the channel, and adjust the volume without the remote, after trying three remotes to no avail.
Further review of my room, yielded stained covers, dingy looking sheets and pillowcases, dirty floor with some stains, that should have been easily removed, a dead bug, little bugs, a dirty shower, and no iron and iron board, although they did find an iron and iron board for me which I retrieved from the front desk.
Unfortunately, during my stay my room was not serviced. I was told the first day that it was because they were booked and their room attendants had to service 15 rooms each. Ummmmm…..okay, so what does that have to do with me??? Oh well, the next day, no show either. Well, I had enough. I had been sleeping on my personal blanket because of the sheet situation, which I already mentioned, and they couldn't come and clean the room either??? Enough. Early checkout was destined for me.
I was very thankful for the night attendant, even though she couldn't do a lot, since she was pregnant, but I genuinely felt her concern and desire to do the right thing.
Days Inn might have been a great place to stay once, but not today. Don't stay here. You deserve better. Trust me. My intended three week stay was reduced to a three day stay because...
Read moreMy name is Gloria Keller. I booked reservations thru Booking.com for 2 rooms at the Days Inn by Wyndham in Wilson, North Carolina. The dates were from 5/13/2022 thru 5/15/2022. I had small children and another adult traveling with me and wanted adjacent or connecting rooms. The rooms were assigned to 2 different areas, room 124 downstairs and 216 upstairs. No one in my group smoked, however 124 was a smoking room. I checked in at 10:17pm. The person working the front desk asked if I was using the same card I booked the rooms with, I informed the desk clerk "no" and provided my Visa credit card(ending in 6116). I inserted the card and the $205.24 charges were approved. I received a text regarding an account transaction and found my card on file (ending in 6738) was also charged $126.66. I was was in room 216. This room was very dirty. The bedspread has red marks that looked like blood and stains on it. Pulling back the covers I found a mattress pad was being used for a blanket and had blood stains on it. The night desk clerk informed me there was no other bedspreads or blakets available, just towels and I would need to speak with the manager in the morning. On top of the linen not being clean the bathroom was not clean. Toilet had mildew stained, bath tub had mold /red & yellow stains, paint peeling from bathroom door/ rusted on door jamb. I went to the front desk at 7:00am to speak with the manager. I was informed it was going to be the assistant manager and she was on her way. I proved photos of the room. She apologized and stated the manager would have to take care of it when he comes in on Monday. I informed the assistant manager I was checking out of both 124 and 216. Per the assistant manager the checkout would be preformed later and she would email me my receipt for the charges(have not received check receipt as of yet). I've worked front desk at 2 different hotels civilian and military. I never couldn't checkout a guest when they wanted leave. This was a horrible experience with this Days Inn and l would not recommend this...
