Even though I was threatened by the owner over the phone that if I leave a bad review online or speak about my experience to other people she will sue me, I have to share my experience….

Upon arriving the salon I was pleasantly surprised it was very cute inside, loved the atmosphere and had thought this would be a great experience and somewhere I could return for future services sadly I was very mistaken.

I have to say I really enjoyed the time in the chair getting my hair done. It was quite the stylist was very nice I felt relaxed and at ease until the time came to pay for my strawberry blonde cooper balayage and hair cut!

FIVE HUNDRED AND THIRTY DOLLARS!!!!!

I literally almost fell over right then and there! With tears in my eyes I said “excuse me! What all did I get done? When I spoke with someone last week (which I now know was the EXTREMELY RUDE owner) I was asking questions like ball park of services, how much to expect and all that “around $300 depending on hair types and what not” ok great thats the average cost I’m comfortable with that!!”

Oh was I once again SO WRONG!

I requested to speak with the owner because honestly I was not prepared to pay that price!

I get on the phone with her and INSTANT ATTITUDE! Ok well excuse me for being concerned with this absolutely ridiculous price for a balayage and hair cut! She rudely tells me “the stylist had to use multiple bowls and bowls of product for your hair” ……… um ok never once was I informed that each bowl was extra or how much extra she put on my hair! Plus I wasn’t even requesting any extra product! I was just sitting there thinking this is a normal amount! No conversation of how much I was planning on spending or if I was ok with all the add ons! Apparently the stylist decided to upgrade my service to a ‘full color’ and extra this and that! I HAD NO IDEA! I would’ve kept it a standard balayage if I had known any of it would cost HALF A THOUSAND DOLLARS.

Back to the phone conversation! This “business owner” states “well why didn’t you go to another salon then?!” “If you want to talk poorly about my business or leave a poor review I will take you to court!” …… I AM LITERALLY FLOORED NOW!

OK SEE YOU IN COURT FOR FRAUD BY DECEPTION THEN I GUESS!!!

I do have to say obviously the owner did have to feel some kind of guilt because she magically changed the price to $430 and told me I was “getting a deal” HA! I am still in shock over that as well!

Please use caution when using this salon. Not only is the owner extremely confrontational and rude but she robs you blind of your hard earned money! And apparently threatens anyone that attempts to leave less than a 5 star rating because I’m not sure how anyone else would be ok with being NOT INFORMED AND OVER CHARGED. Never in my life have I heard of someone getting charged $530 dollars for hair color and cut!...

I just had a wash, trim and blow dry at Birch and Willow. It was my second time with Evie at the salon. The salon is very warm and homey feeling. Evie is a young beautiful stylist herself, making you feel very welcome into the salon with her amazing personality and style. It’s very difficult to find a new hairstylist that can just pick up where your old stylist ended, but Evie did just that with flying colors! I would recommend Evie to everyone I know and be comfortable saying you are in good hands as long as you know what you want, or show her a picture. Trust me, Evie can do it! I am the worst person when it comes to my hair, but I explained what I wanted, and she did exactly that 100%. Thank You Evie, see you in twelve...

I actually met Anne when I scheduled a haircut for my teenage daughter. She was referred to me by another friend; and, I instantly loved her so much I became a client after going to another hairdresser for over 25 years! Anne is super sociable, genuine, professional, knowledgeable and just such an amazing person! Her salon is so cute and she offers a complimentary adult beverage if you choose! My daughter and I both loved our cuts- I got color, which didn’t stay in the first time, but she listened and made suggestions and it was perfect!
