Harbor Freight — Local services in Windham

I have been shopping at harbor freight for as long as I can remember however I have never encountered someone quite as rude as Roland the “branch manager” over at Harbor Freight windham. What an absolute terrible attitude and terrible customer service. Roland was about as rude as they come, so rude in fact that he made my girlfriend too uncomfortable to come back into the store. I had recently bought a predator 3500 generator, unfortunately it only ran for about 5 or so hours before it started to have issues. I know a lot of people with this model and I fully believe that I just had a bad one. I took it back to exchange. I had an excellent experience at the Harbor Freight location in Windham, Connecticut. I purchased an open-box hydraulic table cart but realized I couldn’t load it into my sedan as I was en route to New Hampshire. The manager, I believe Robert, went above and beyond to help me out. He kindly allowed me to complete the purchase and held the item for a couple of hours until I could return with my truck to pick it up.

Robert’s professionalism and customer care truly stood out. He made what could have been a stressful situation completely seamless. I’m incredibly appreciative of his kindness and attention to detail.

Harbor freight prices have always been great. The quality was lacking in the early days. I have a lot of tools from harbor freight. Their ICON series are very good. I have their 1/2 torque wrench. Works as good as any other brands. I do find their electronics tools to be lacking. I have bought several tools like saws and cutting wheels that were junk. I returned them the same day. That said, they accept returns without question. So I would say, don't be afraid to purchase these tools. Most times they are fine and if you are not happy, they will...
