If I could give this store 0 stars I would. My wife and I purchased a 3600 dollar Samsung Refrigerator from here and it was the worst experience I have ever had as far as purchasing goes. When they sold us the fridge they told us they wouldn’t hook up the water line unless we bought a new braided one from them so we did, never once mentioned anything about not being able to install it if there was a existing copper style line, well come delivery day which by the way took over two months, the delivery people show up pulled my old fridge out and refused to install the new fridge because the existing line was a copper style, they left the old fridge pulled out in my kitchen refusing to even push it back into its place, left my new fridge in the middle of my dinning room had my wife call me and tell me if I installed it today that they would be back to pick up the old fridge after I install the new line and new fridge later on THAT SAME DAY. I leave work early get home and seen they put nothing down on my hard wood floors and when I moved the fridge to look to see if there was any damage sure enough big gouge marks left from them pulling it out and not putting something down on the floor. I then installed the new line which took a whole 10 mins to install and my wife and I then moved the old fridge and new fridge into place. We called the delivery company at 330 and let them know the old fridge was ready for pick up and they never showed up, the fridge was to heavy for my wife and I to haul downstairs to the basement so it sat and defrosted in my dinning room leaking water on the hard wood floors over night which then warped a decent size section of our dinning room floor. Called where we bought the fridge asked to speak to a manger her name was Brendon who was very rude and seemed bothered and inconvenienced she had to deal with the problem told my wife she’d see what she could do about getting someone to help us remove the old fridge and would call my wife back and never did, my wife tried to call back the store and they must have took her number off caller Id because the phone would just ring for ever with no answer but when we called from a different number someone picked up right away only to tell us she had left for the day so we started on the whole thing with another manager who was somewhat more helpful. This manager tells us don’t worry we have insurance if there is any damage and he was working on contacting the delivery company. Three days the old fridge sat in my dinning room leaking water with no idea on when they would be by to remove it, I finally had a friend come help me get it outside on the deck. The delivery company’s owner came out who took pictures of all the damage about a week later to later email us saying they aren’t responsible and when my wife threatened to escalate it higher with home depot laughed at my wife on the phone and told her go the F**k head and hung up on her. Real nice customer service on both home depot and the delivery company after we spent 3600 dollars on a fridge. And now I’m left with fighting a battle to get my floors repaired from carelessness of the delivery company who couldn’t be bothered to put something on the floor to prevent damage and then not showing up to remove the old fridge which left water damage. Read moreHome Depot has given my family so many problems over the years with 2 appliance purchases. They hire independent companies to do deliveries and separate companies on top of that to do installs. There are major communication disconnects between the 3 companies who are supposed to all be on the same page. It's cost me hours on the phone with customer service (who are always so kind), but even promised resolution seems to get you nowhere. After the recent nightmare of trying to purchase a refrigerator with an icemaker and receiving one without, that was also damaged, with a delivery team that wouldn't even put a door handle on for my 76 year old mother, we have decided to switch to Lowe's for all of our major appliance purchases in hopes to avoid any further issues. Yesterday we finally received the icemaker in a box in the middle of the driveway. At this point, home depot still has not resolved this issue that began 3 weeks ago. Customer service promised me yesterday that this would all be resolved by next week, 4 weeks after our original delivery date. Let's hope that this time, they are telling me the truth. 2 years ago i purchased a gas stove and paid for installation of the new one, new gas lines and removal of the old one. The delivery team could only take the old one and leave the new stove , but could not hook up the new one. Home depot doesn't tell you this when you purchase items. I had a new stove that I could not use for almost 2 weeks before the installation team (another independent company) was able to come out and install. My recommendation? Let's all go...
Read moreI went to pick up an online order through curb side pick up. I checked in through the app and received a confirmation. 15 minutes later, I called the store to check on the status. I was put on hold for 5 minutes. When the gentleman came back on the line, he said he would have someone bring my order out. After 15 minutes, I went into the store and asked why my order hadn't been brought out yet. One gentleman with the scanner said my order was not on the shelf where it was supposed to be. Another gentleman at the register asked for my name and found my order. He then turned to the other gentleman and asked, "Did you look in here?" as he walked to another set of shelves with doors on them. He found my order. So, two minutes after I walked in, I had my order! The first gentleman said, "I dont know it was put in there." And I responded, "I don't know why it took so long to figure it out." I am normally not rude, but I feel this was complete incompetence on the part of both of them. How long was the first gentleman staring at the shelf, wondering where my order was. Why didn't he ask his coworker who apparently had more experience and found the order immediately. I think it's fair to say this was a case of out of sight, out of mind.
