This review is a long time coming.....Unfortunately, I have no choice but to give one star. Let’s review: The first time I visited this store, the staff stayed on her personal call almost the entire time she was supposed to be helping me. My company provided phone ended up needing a factory reset and she had no idea how to do it or no idea how to determine that .... either way it was a complete waste of 45 mins. The second visit: My company’s fleet phones needed car mounts. I went in to order 12 mounts. Was told they would be in within a few days. I went back the following week to pick up the order(even tho no one followed up) only to discover that no order had ever been placed. It was like I had never even been there. I guess the upside is that I didn’t pay for them before receiving. Third visit: yes, I should’ve know better but I live in Windsor so it’s convenient. Our family decided to switch from T mobile to Verizon. So the 4 of us go in to get all set up. Things went well besides the fact that they carried absolutely no cases to fit any of our phones and they actually only had a few phones to choose from that were on site. Transaction complete, we were told that the rebate gift cards would arrive in the mail within 4 weeks. The plan was to take the gift cards to pay off our T-Mobile phones to free us from that debt. Well.... after waiting 6 weeks, I called Verizon only to discover that we were supposed to request the rebates and the time frame had passed. Who leaves $800 on the table?! Thankfully, Verizon made us whole by applying the credit to a few monthly bills. The staff at Russel Cellular are clearly not trained, informed, whatever..... something is lacking in their hiring requirements Fourth visit: Glutton for punishment - my husband goes in to buy a screen cover. You know, that thin clear plastic film to protect the screen. The clerk picks out the applicable screen for his phone, he pays for it, she goes to put it on for him and it’s the wrong size. She then tries to refund his debit card but ends up charging it again. So now that’s $106 that will take 14 days to be refunded because of untrained, incapable employees. Reluctantly we bought 2 iPhones from him and that was a mistake. He repeatedly told us how he hates iPhones and of course he was clueless as to how to set up. He was in such a hurry to get off work that he botched up both phones and data transfers. When someone called he stated we were last minute customers. Hello, we were there 1 hour and 36 minutes prior to closing. At 7:36 approximately, he stated he had to lock the store up so we came home with a hot mess, an expensive hot mess.    Read moreI visited the store this evening in a little distress, I accidentally dropped my phone and the screen was shattered at the bottom and not responding to touch. I also work at a hospital and had to work tonight and I had limited time to try to get a new phone. Sierra was absolutely amazing and she went above and beyond for me! We had some technical issues that stopped us from making a timely switch but she kept coming up with new ways to try to go around it. She was so kind and patient and it was really helpful for me because I was a bit frustrated and stressed. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness. She even stayed late to make sure I had a working phone. I will be forever grateful for her assistance!...
