I normally do not shop at these types of stores and will normally go to Sallyās or try to shop black owned stores online due to the hovering as if you want to steal an item even if itās only $1. I was at the register paying and when I turned around the owner was just standing there staring at the check out watching us and the workers like she was an overseer. As if she doesnāt trust the customers or the employees. Then when I went to the door the employee forgot to deactivate the security tag so the buzzer went off. The person by the door who looked like she was taping something(probably the owners daughter who was a decoy looking for thieves) pop up and gave me and my purse a side eye look and the owner was looking as well as if in their head they were saying āAh ha! We got one. You thought you could steal from us ā. The clerk deactivated the tag on my $1.50 comb( who needs to steal that) then I went about my way. I could feel them just staring at me on the way out like if they were waiting for it to beep again to be excited to catch someone stealing. It was quite a disgusting experience. I can only imagine how they pressure their employees and probably triple check their purses at the end of the night. The black dollars are good for their pockets but not for respect it seems. Yea, never again. Iāll stick to the ones online or Sallyās. This is exactly why I havenāt been to these local beauty stores in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO NOT SHOP HERE! Their pricing is way off! For example the mielle products when compared to TARGET pricing is much less! If it was a $1 or so not so bad. But a $5 difference is crazy!
Then my husband when to buy beard wash and the price on the shelf said $6 but got to the register and then the price is $10 for the same bottle. The excuse āthe price is wrong on the shelfā!
Also their return policy! I went to return a blow dryer and they called the boss for me to explain why I didnāt want it. The store policy says no refund (which is fine), store credit or exchange only with original receipt! Not explanation of why I donāt want your product to owner with an attitude.
The lady at the register then proceeded to tell me that itās bc of her that Iām getting store credit(the store credit that is clearly on the sign š), bc they donāt give anyone store credit or anything. So basically the sign is a LIE TOO!
I bought the blow dryer on the 9/8/23 and brought it back on 9/9/23 with the original receipt!
The blow dryer had the number 2000 on it but when I further investigated it didnāt mean 2000 watts. I canāt blame anyone, the girl who helped me did the best she could and she was very nice. I just wanted the store...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStarted out having a great experience. The young Pregnant girl that helped me and knew exactly what I needed. She was very nice as well as the owner helped me find the other items I needed. I called ahead to make sure they took Google Pay and was told. Yes. get to the register to pay. And it tells me my card is expired.. Not expired doesn't expire till 8/2025. Try several times then the older woman says we don't take Google Pay. I said yes, you do. It's right there on the screen. Who did you talk to when you called? You didn't get a name? No because you take google Pay, it says so right here. I asked, do you want to take me to another register and try the other register. Maybe your machine isn't working? Then the other lady at the other register goes no it ain't us it's you. I said O k, I've used this card 3 times in the last 30 minute before I walked in. It's not my card I guess you just don't want my business and I left. When to the gas station a block away use my google pay no problem . It's a Shame I would rather give my money to a local business...
