Art & Framing On the Park — Local services in Winter Haven

Good local plce to have your treasure framed by a pro. The store is on the corner by the public library across the street from the park and a few doors down from the new 'downtown " restaurants and stores.

It has an incredible vibe. The guy that runs the place absolutely loves his work and it clearly shines in his demeanor. I used to take stuff to the big name store until I discovered this guy. Let me tell you why I go here, the guy that takes your order does the framing job. At Michaels they send out the orders and only do small photo jobs in store.

He knows his profession and can give you an instant price. You don't have to waif weeks for a job to be completed. He has a genuine appreciation for art and has a good eye for picking out the best mat and frame to make a treasure look good. Let's face it, if you're framing something barring accidents it will look that way - the way it's framed for decades and its important you get it right the first time.

And better yet, its a local guy. What's the point of living in a small town if you only shop at the big box stores?

Art & Framing on the Park is an absolute hidden treasure and more people should know about it!

Sean does an amazing job with all of his work. He framed 9 different documents for me from college and law school diplomas to certificates and awards accumulated within that time. He did a fantastic job getting the frames to match up, but not all look identical so there is some style and different textures. He also did a fantastic job matching up the background of the documents with the borders of the frames and the mats in between.

Not only that, Sean was extremely interested in all of the documents and actually cared about what they meant .It made it even more special that he was intrigued and knew how important all of these were to my family and me and added that interest and excitement into the frames. I am currently over in St. Petersburg, but the next time I need something framed, I definitely plan on making the trip to Downtown Winter Haven to see Sean!

Terrible experience. After Sean kept my Tarkays for over 6 months, and many trips there hearing promise after promise, he put the wrong frames on, did not do the matting as I asked and lost my appraisals. When asked why he did not do the frames I had chosen, his reply was, " I didn't have the material. I feel this is a good bridge." The frames I had chosen were very ornate, the ones he used were not. (He only had 6 months to order the material) I had them taken apart and left with my art. Now, after waiting 6 months, I will have to start over with someone else. Very unorganized and...
