It is a beautiful restaurant and the staff was super nice but the food is quite underwhelming. Small portions, big prices, little to no flavor. This was my first time trying Thai food and it was okay but no where near delicious. I came with a party of 5 right at opening time. The coconut water was fresh and delicious, nice and sweet. That’s about all that I enjoyed. Even the diet coke was flat. The crab rangoons were good but literally no crab in them just tasted like fried cream cheese. I mean it’s imitation crab so why be so stingy with the crab. The fried wontons were so dry inside no one at our table finished them. I ordered Panang curry shrimp and the shrimp was literally spoiled, not an exaggeration it was spoiled. And I’m one of those people that literally cannot send a plate back at a restaurant. So I ate the veggies and rice only. No worries, there were only 4 shrimp on the plate anyways. The sauce however was flavorful. My husband on the other hand did send his back bc he ordered beef pad Thai and they brought him chicken. I looked at his plate and the portion size was equivalent to about a half package of ramen if you know what I mean. The kids ordered chicken pad Thai and chicken fried rice add scallops. One kid said the noodles in the pad Thai were chewy and flavorless but when you add the sauces they bring you during the meal it’s better. I kid you not, the fried rice was pale like plain white rice. No sauce no seasoning no flavor no color. The chicken was pale, the scallops blended into the rice everything on the plate was just white. Not a single one of us enjoyed our meal. $150 plus tip down the drain we left and got pizza across the street bc the kids were still complaining they were hungry. If the food was good I wouldn’t be disappointed about the high...
Read moreWent Friday evening. As a first timer, and based on reviews, my expectations were high but left disappointed. Walked in. Waited for someone to greet myself and my family. After about 5 minutes and seeing the servers walking about, I had to ask if we were to wait to be seated or sit where we wish. The response was, "We are really busy, and we have a party of 8 coming in." There was 3 families at the tables, several tables that needed bussing and a few tables empty. I asked if we can sit at the table facing the outside with the 4 high bar type chairs, response was, first the eye roll, a heavy deep sigh of annoyance followed by a yes. Sat down, started looking at the paper menu until a table was cleared and was asked if I wished to move. We did. We. Waited. Waited. Finally got our order in. Food came, realized we had no silverware, no napkins. After about 5 minutes of not 1 server in sight, had to get up and ask for what was needed. Food was luke warm, cold on the edges. Since we've driven an hour our of the way to come, figured let's just eat the meat at least. Some other customers came and was greeted the same as my family. We are really busy and we have a huge party coming in. They looked just as confused as we did and they left. If the 2 severs that night cannot handle the already 3 families (4 each table) that was there, plus another party of 8 that was due on a Friday evening, let alone know how to greet customers in a friendly manner and provide good service, I suggest you give them either a good talking to, retrain them or hire better servers. Read the reviews and everyone raves about this place. Definitely not...
Read moreFirst time having lunch there ( last week) was great , the food was delicious and the waiter was helpful, knowledgeable about the menu and the service was excellent. I drank water and my husband had 2 Arnold Palmers without any problem. Loved it, left a big tip. Second time went there for lunch (today) , the service was awful.!The food was still delicious but the waitress never came back to the table not once to check if we needed anything. Our drinks were never refilled. My food was quite spicy but I ordered it that way and loved it but it made me thirsty . When my husband walked up to the front with our empty glasses to ask for refills on our drinks the lady snatched the glasses from his hand and said No Refill on Arnold Palmer!!! ( have lemonade half tea) with a nasty attitude . No where in the menu was this mentioned. I understand there is no refill on orange juice or chai tea etc ( which is mentioned on the menu). Instead of having an attitude she and the owner who was even worse, he said, quote: “ I can’t give you lemonade lemonade lemonade “ Wft? It was our first refill, not like we drank a pitcher of it 🙄, they could have said we don’t do refill on lemonade but would you like just an ice tea? ( which is on the refillable drink list and would have been just fine with us) Anyway, while whole drink ordeal left such a bad taste in our mouth we will not be going back. Shame, because I really...
