Today we saw an amazing show put on by the Cypress Garden Water Ski Team! @CGWST They have a show on the third Saturday of each month! It’s a great time for the entire family! This was our first time and we can’t wait to come back! #cypressgardens #waterskiing #thingstodoinflorida #polkcounty #fyp

This park is on the outskirts of downtown. It is a beautifully designed part with a covered area for entertainment. I attended an event which had food trucks and vendors. There was musical entertainment as well. Suggest bringing a lawn chair or blanket for seating. The view is breathtaking as you look out at a lake( Lake Silver) from many angles in the park. Great to come out and just enjoy nature.

Parking at the park is limited, but plenty within a short walk. Facility is well maintained, bathrooms are large, pet friendly, and with the perfect slope down to the water it's the perfect location for watching the water-skiing show!

MLK JR PARK is a great location and area to go and enjoy the lake view, skating park and walking path. It’s location is a walking distance to many local restaurants for good eats!
