CVS — Local services in Wood-Ridge

I bought a beard trimmer from this location that turnt out to be defective. I went to return it and they told me to come back when a manager was present. When I returned they told me to call the corporate customer care number. After a wasted hour on the phone with corporate, they instructed me to return to the local store.

When I returned to the local store for the third time, they told me they couldn’t process the return because they were out of stock and didn’t have a barcode to scan. It’s not my fault that they don’t have a barcode to scan. They sold a defective item and should issue a refund out of principle. The clerk was rude to top it all off. This is a bad location. Pick a different pharmacy and don’t waste your time. Harmons has a much more generous return policy and would never put their customers through this...

Specifically reviewing a pharmacist named Linda Valesquez who refused to fill my medication despite having 3 refills on an old script and a brand new script with different dosage from the same doctor. Despite this nerve damage medication being non addictive, the pharmacist lied and told me it was a controlled dangerous substance (it’s not) so she wouldn’t have to fill it. She refused to speak to my doctor, refused to fill my script and eventually kicked me out of the store threatening to call police. I’ve gone to this pharmacy my entire life. I went in tonight to get balloons for my daughter’s birthday and this young man that was at the register by himself was just so nice and emits such positive energy that I can’t help but make this comment.
