Out of 55 Guests, we were the only two guests from Akshar travel. When we book a tour, you should let us know that if there are not enough guests, we will sell you off to some unknown "Global Tours" with hafty commission. I requested Dhagash two days prior to departure to provide a list of other guests joining us. He denies for privacy reasons. What privacy? Other tour operators arrange a Video Conference a couple of days prior to departure.
Dhagash had given in writing that group size will be 40. There were 55 Guests in a bus of 57 seats. (two or three seats loaded with bags) Because of the large group, the manager has to Difficult to fit in all bags in the luggage area, Every day, the Coach captain struggles to fit in bags for 30 to 45 minutes. We had to travelle sitting on Bus floor, Picture I sent to Dhagash Manage bags on seats and in the bathroom. Some time can not open back door, every break will be extended by 10 to 15 minutes, which time will be taken away either from attractions or lunch/ dinner time

Day one, the airport transfer was confirmed. There were only two families - 4 guests- Manager asked us to wait for Driver, We waited for 45 minutes. He asked us to walk to Terminal one from Terminal Three with our bags, because the driver refused to come to Terminal three. Manager says you can go by taxi, and pay your own. Literally after fighting with him, he paid for a Taxi. After 20 hours of journey, we had wasted almost two and half to three hours in Terminal Parking. Everyone expects to go to Lords (Mecca of Cricket) when they go to London, You also have given in writing. Without giving any reason/ announcement, the manager took us to the Oval. WHY? We are excited for Top of The Europe, Jungfrau. He took us to some unknown, cheaper mountain. He cancelled the Vatican Museum and Sistine church. We had paid months ahead, why can't you book tickets ahead of time. If you try tickets on the spot, it may not be available. You had a confirmed list, every one paid in advance, Why can't you book tickets in advance. As per your Itenary, we expect one Gala Dinner. Sorry, Big disappointment. We were thrilled to experience World's first rotating cable car, sorry, we had no luck. Bus broke when we were moving towards Vanice. Manager took the bus to the service station, ask us to wait. He did not care to manage our waiting period. We waited on the roadside on our own for three hours with the Sun on our heads. Yes, the bus may break, but he should manage our waiting safely and comfortably. At Least three days, the Air Conditioning was not working, so he compelled us to travel by bus without Air Conditioning. When we told him that we would call local authorities / police, he managed another bus.
You guys Cheated us just for your commission at the cost of our precious time and money. We will never ever recommend someone...
Read moreWe went to Europe with Taj tours, Iselin, NJ in June, 2017, which was one of the worst tour ever. They claimed to show six countries in 12 days, but 12th day is a checkout day, no sightseeing. The time given to us was very less - half a day in London (panoramic tour) and 1 hr in Belgium, 2 hrs in Germany, so you are done with three countries. For remaining 3 countries also, 60 – 70 % of your time will be travelling in the bus in the daytime without any entertainment (no movies/no wifi). Only couple of tickets are included in the package, remaining all you need to purchase, which I am absolutely fine. But I was very disappointed when we could not get tickets at Pisa, I would expect tour manger to book the tickets upfront for people who are willing to go. We had an hour at Colosseum and that guide will take 15 - 20 mints to explain the place and you really can take couple of good pics, that all. They gave us an hour time in Venice, out of which you waste 15 mints in a glass factory and did not have time to walk in streets. Same story repeats at most of the places. Many of these places are photo stops and site seeing in panoramic way.
The driver had constrain on driving hours, so you will be back to hotel by 8 or 9 pm (except for couple of days). No proper communication about the travel time and places we will be visiting. The hotels they have booked has no A/Cs, people who won the fight with manager ended up with table fans. Our hotel breakfast menu is different (very basic) than other hotel customers. The quality of food is very low and sometimes you end up eating in the parking lot, standing in the hot sun. We had 61 people in the bus, no cleaning was done inside the bus in the entire trip, people were spilling the food, leaving the garbage in the bus and some people got sick at end of the trip. Tour manager left us in France and we were stuck with driver, who is not willing to answer to any of our questions. In fact one of the person in our bus was counting the people to make sure everyone boarded the bus and helped us getting the hotel rooms keys in London, no proper bye.
In summary, this trip is for people, who will enjoy seeing Europe from bus window or for people want to check off the places by taking couple of pics and have Indian food...

Our tour was a memorable one. Akshar Travels arranged the tour exceptionally well. 1.Mr. Tejinder Singh our driver cum tour guide was exceptionally good driver with beautiful and comfortable vehicle. As a tour leader he was knowledgeable and engaging, giving us the history and information about all places and the roads. 2.All hotels selected by tour company were good. 3.Tour schedule was managed very well. Indian Restaurants chosen for lunches and dinners were overall good, provided us delicious food. Lunch pack was also good. 4.Activities like helicopter ride, cruise and rides in Universal Studios were enjoyable. We experienced excellent customer service from staff at Akshar tours, including prompt responses to questions and requests. Any group tour can be enjoyable when the group consists of people with same interests , same culture and food choices. We were lucky to have gotten the best ever group. I thank everyone in the group for respecting each others’ time and specially for helping us (senior citizens)everywhere. While the tour was enjoyable, perhaps offering more time at the Universal studios and Yosemite park would allow for a more immersive experience." Highlight of our tour was optional add-on Grand Canyon tour. It is a wonderful experience to visit there. I suggest that it should be included as an itinerary. For this Grand Canyon Tour , lady driver cum guide, bus, complimentary food everything was too good.
Areas of improvement :- On day 1 tour should start early. Tickets of Universal studio with QR code should be given to guests. We wasted precious time there. Dosa house food in SF was very poor quality -avoid this place for dinner. Overall our tour was a great and memorable experience. I surely will recommend Akshar travels and tours for planning...
