It was a make-up for a photoshoot and believe me it was the worst make up ever. They charged $105 dollar for make-up which I paid and would have been satisfactory if the make-up was professional. For lashes there was extra $15 which is again something a lot of the artists but putting up the lashes at end of lashline made my eyes smaller which did not suit me and again as I have stated below the make-up artist had no vision. The makeup artist doesn’t have vision even when you specify what you are expecting. The make up made me look dark and the make up artist was so hesitant to touch the face while putting on the make-up. I specified the dress color and also that I needed a glam make up for a photo shoot but it literally turned out bad Enhancing a person’s features is what is called make-up. It’s an art and the person is no artist but a person who just worked for money.
Edited after the below response from owner: Yes I was late but for 15 minutes as you confirmed it was 3.00 pm appointment, you were iterating that the makeup artist is come here during lunch break and she left along with me when I left so the point where you have next appointments lined up for her is absurd.
Also I attended the calls for twice for 2 minutes, that could not be the reason for bad makeup.
It’s not Sephora standard or any standard that you should not touch the client while applying makeup and if it was late you could have just told me that but rather you did not speak about it. I work for a lot of photoshoots and never a make up artist has hesitated to touch the face even during Covid And your parlor did not follow any Covid policies followed, the brushes were not clean when you applied makeup for me and you did not sanitize or even wear mask when you work.
I did not say simple make up, I iterated it was a party and I would need glam makeup but even though you charged for glam makeup it was nowhere near glam, it was simple and cakey.
I am not criticizing the art here just the artist who did not do it, when you can’t match a foundation to the skin tone that’s not something a professional would do.
I was there for 45 minutes but the outcome was not...
Read moreI decided to try a new place closer to home to get my eyebrows done so I decided to go here. I called to make sure they did eyebrows and they told me yes. The price was $4 if you’re wondering. I show up and they sit me down immediately. At this point I was happy at the fact that they attended me right away. I then sit down and the lady tells me to put my head back. Mind you the seat I was sitting on was a barber shop chair without a headrest. As she began threading my right eyebrow I feel an incredible sharp pain going from my neck to my lower back and somehow the lady didn’t notice my pain or discomfort and I groaned & made facial expression signaling its painful. As I tried to suck it up the lady then noticed she didn’t give me a pillow for support. Even with the pillow giving me very little support on the chair the way my body was positioned it was extremely uncomfortable. The lady literally did my eyebrow in 3 minutes. As she handed me the mirror check my eyebrows I noticed a few spots she missed. I then proceeded to tell her and she touched up the area’s I pointed out to her. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed that I came to this establishment to endure a discomforting, painful and careless experience. I rest assure this will be the first and last time I ever come to this place.
*A tip for the owner- Get some threading chairs with a headrest so you can make the customers experience enjoyable and comfortable without having to break there necks. Also hire people who want to do a good job at threading rather than just taking your money and kicking you...
Read moreThe worst experience in a beauty salon in my life. Unprofessional staff. I asked for a layered haircut and showed a photo of how it should be. 2 people tried to cut my hair. They did a straight cut first, when I said I asked for layers, the hair on the front was cut differently, the right side was done well and the left the hair was shorter and had two steps that were about 1,5 inches apart. After that, the third person, the owner of the salon, took the scissors to cut the hair further, but I didn't want the hair to get any shorter, so I stopped her. I speak English very poorly, so using Google translator I wrote that I should not pay full price for such work. My hairstyle and mood were ruined. The owner saw that I already had tears in my eyes, despite this, she continued to talk to me rudely and said that if I don't like the work done, that's my problem. No one even apologized for the ruined haircut. She called some two men, about 7 people gathered around me. My husband and son came to pick me up, I went out to the car to tell my husband what was happening in this hairdresser, at that time one of the men said that he was calling the police as if I was some kind of criminal. We told the policeman what happened and in his presence we paid the full cost of...
