I rarely write reviews, but after my frustrating experience with Sansone Toyota, I feel compelled to warn others. I placed a $5,000 deposit on a new car on December 24th, for a custom build, and it turned into a complete nightmare. For five months, I received absolutely no communication about the status of my order. I called multiple times, left voicemails, but never received any return calls. After weeks of silence, I had no choice but to drive to the dealership on May 15th to get answers. To my surprise, I was told that the salesperson I had been working with had moved on--no notice, no follow-up. They assigned me a new salesperson, who assured me that my vehicle should arrive within another 45 days. I gave it some time, but after just 15 days, I called again, multiple times, only to be met with more voicemails and no return calls. I then drove to the dealership again, only to find out that the second salesperson had also left the dealership. At this point, I was understandably frustrated but was assigned a third salesperson Jorge Diaz who finally started communicating with me and empathized with my situation. After all this waiting, I found out that the vehicle they had ordered was not the custom build I had requested. Instead, it was a model with all the bells and whistles, in a different color and equipped with a panoramic roof--something I never asked for and was told Toyota doesn't even manufacture without it. It was a complete mismatch of my original order. The dealership blamed all their inefficiencies on Toyota the manufacturer. To add insult to injury, no one at the dealership could explain why they never placed my actual order or why they didn't communicate about the issues. I had been waiting for six months, and yet no one had the decency to call and update me. In a last-ditch effort, I called Toyota directly, but they said they couldn't help and transferred me to Analisa, a customer satisfaction representative, who assured me that there would be a resolution and assured me a call back in 24 hrs. However, she never called me back, despite repeatedly assuring me that she would. Eventually, after 7 days Sansone Toyota offered me my deposit back if I didn't want the car they were offering, which was not what I ordered. After six months of waiting, I decided to take them up on their offer and asked for my deposit to be returned. The entire experience was a waste of time, and it felt like I had been completely ignored. I would strongly advise staying away from Sansone Toyota unless you're fully prepared to deal with poor communication, a lack of accountability, and an overall frustrating and unprofessional experience. My experience with them was beyond disappointing. There was no follow-through, updates were nearly impossible to get, and the level of customer service was far below what anyone should expect from a dealership of Sansone's size. And that made it possible for me to since the deal and then the rest of history. I got the score on the same day. I'm back now a few days later. But they're bringing back the car title for the Honda that I turned in. So overall experience has been very, very good. And Israel even set up the GPS in the system in the car. So that I get home knowing and how to get there. He made sure I made her home too. Verall, I'm very, very pleased.
