Me and my fiancé were supposed to be staying over here, but we checked out early at 2am. From the moment we got there, even before when I went to visit the location, it was super sketchy. Like any normal hotel I tried paying with card over the phone to reserve the room. These people had the nerve to tell me, “E-mail us a photo of your credit card front and back and your license.” Absolutely not. So I drive the hour the week before and pay in cash. We show up today, “Your room will be ready by 3” we leave, come back, “30 minutes” ok, leave again, come back, “5 minutes” and then we finally get our key. Get to the room, they’re still “cleaning” Finally were in the room and there’s clumps of red hair on the recliner, and I went to look at the bathroom, and the garbage was changed, but had clumps of cigarette ash in the bag, clearly visible. We call front desk, they send someone, person isn’t wearing a mask or anything, pretty sure we’re still in a pandemic state right now. And the people above us were basically jumping around from 10pm to at least 2am when I called the front desk to ask them to chill out, she says ok. Maybe 10 seconds pass, she calls back, “yeah so there’s no one up there I just checked” banging still ensued while we were on the phone. And all I got was “I don’t know what to tell you” Front desk hospitality is far below sub par, the housekeepers are lazy and smoke cigarettes in your rooms when they clean. And get ready for this..... there’s a $10 rental fee..... for the tv remote....THE TV REMOTE! So overall, the rooms are dope if all the lights work, but the place as a whole is run like a dump. But I guess it suits the place because the only view you’ll get from your window is a scrap metal junkyard...
Read moreWhen you first drive in it will catch you off gaurd, but its worth it. I loveeeeeddd this place omg this will be my wife and I spot for all of our romantic ventures. The rooms are all themed for romance jacuzzi water falls fireplace.
My wife and I are from Albany NY she surprised me, we celebrate our birthday weekend and let me tell you I was stunned and very happily surprised, I didn't want leave. Lol the room attendants were sweet gave us extra towels and everything we asked for they were very attentive. The room we had was super clean. I haven't slept that good in a while at a hotel or Inn I should say.
You do have to pay for the wood logs for the fire place, the bubbles for the jacuzzi. There is a fee for the remote due to some theft, which I understood that but you do get your money back at the end of your stay.
There isn't a fridge or microwave but we went out to eat and was able to use the microwave in the office when needed. There was a vending machine on our floor, plus an ice machine. I had an amazinggggggg time Z -from the front desk was very helpful and I told him how pleased and happy I was. This is our secret hideout. We will be back very soon I'm even getting a room for my friend and her husband for gift after Their wedding later this year. Thank you Loop Inn Motel for such a wonderful, amazing...
Read moreMe and my lady came back after 5 years to celebrate our 'anniversary '. Drove over an hour and because I was 'blindfolded' last time, this was the the first time I actually saw the place and its surroundings... The place definitely seemed like sneak away spot for cheating and adultery activities. But to each their own as the rooms did make up for it the low key creepy, skeevy overall look. The hallways leading to the room were made out of stone. The room did have a romantic vibe. Fireplace was nice, mirrors on the ceiling (which we like), hot tub with the columns look was not too much but could come off as cheesy. The bathroom looked outdated and out of place compared to the rest of the room. There's a TV but you have to pay a $10 deposit to receive the remote. Bed was clean looking but did notice a few burn holes in the sheets. Overall the place is a good getaway as there's places around the area to eat and socialize (pandemic permitting) but no microwave in the room in case you want bring your food back. Me and my Lady enjoyed ourselves. We don't need a 5 star hotel to enjoy ourselves and if decide to stay at the Loop Inn, you...
