Dairy Queen (Treat Only) — Restaurant in Rahway

I visited this place Friday evening 9/2/22 around 6:30pm and asked the teenage girl working there for a medium birthday cake. She went to the back for a long time and returned with a blizzard cake since it was all they had. I said fine l'Il take it and she went to the back for a long time again to get pricing. She returned and asked for $53. I've bought many birthdays and blizzard cakes and I know that's not the price. I even looked up pricing DQ website. The girl said she called her boss and got the price and also prices vary from one DQ to another........ ???? I asked her to contact her manager again and she went to the back again and said she wasn't available. I asked for the employees name and she said she couldn't give me that information. She then hid in the back and had her coworker look out the window until I left. I went to the DQ in Clark and bought the same cake for $30. I tried calling management twice but no one's ever available at the Rahway location. Wonder if it was the employee trying to make a quick buck or management is actually orchestrating this...

They messed up the order twice charged me for medium cups but gave me small cups than our order was 2 different of the upside down filled blizzards royal cheesecake and the choco which came with no filling in neither when they quickly tried to remake the order they messed up. It was only me and another lady in line who was pissed that they handled her cone with no napkins and without the paper around it. The black girl was rude and ignorant and was slamming the window shut in our faces and acting as if she was the manager and the other girl working with her was trying to make the situations right but the black girl was intimidating her to go with what she said. The other girl wanted to call her manager than the black girl shut the window in our faces again than opened it back up to say we cant get our manager than after we asked for her name she said her manager said she cant give out her name after sayin she couldnt reach her manager smh so now we are dealing...

Visited 4/16/2023 evening ,was a short line but took 30 minutes just to get to counter. While waiting in line there was a customer whose order was messed up & the staff did not correct it & just let customer leave unhappy. We placed our order for 3 items the young lady serving the items at counter could not get the names of the items she was handing out and staff ended up mixing our order and giving us the wrong item. The 3rd item on our order took another 15 minutes to serve. Customers who had order after us also started receiving their items in parts & again the young lady handing out the item could not remember the names of the items she was handing out. Have been to other DQ locations and the experience has been totally opposite of this location , This was not happy experience , will never go back...
