đ Part 2 Fast-forwarding May 2024
Well, now that Heather is gone (as the leasing manager,) a lady named Courtney is brought in, and she's no better because she's so unprofessional by never returning calls.
Basically this is how Vermella Leasing Agents rolls: (1) if you're in the Affordable Housing category (verses) (2) non-affordable rental/Leasing category, their demeanor & disrespect is so palpital & have no bones in hiding it.
Oddly, 9 out 10 questions I've asked them, it never fails them telling me "I do not know?" So, I call the DEVELOPERS and, wella! I get all the right answers. Leasing Offices have never been transparent with me and I've left a message twice for Courtney to return my call & hasn't as of June 19, 2024. (Waiting 4 the cows to cime home.). Employees gives a bad wrap. Period.
Btw-The developers were warned â ď¸ about it & said they would addressed the matter, but consumers are no fools. (I'm like the best "secret shopper" in town.
Part 1đ Keeping it Real âźď¸
Imagine, leaving a 1 star review (dated back in December of 2022,) to then have the leasing office manager CALLed âď¸ ME several months later naned Heather to say, âthey just noticed the 1 star, that if I could give them a much higher rating because it didnât make Vermella Woodbrige look good?â âŚ.
Like seriously? Asking me to Reward the ENTIRE Leasing Office Staff members (Danielle, Heather, Dina & Tania) on their unprofessional demeanor towards me? I even have the receipt to prove it. âŚ.
As in a black & white email from Danielle telling me off to then state âshe didnât feel comfortable giving me a tour?â Like seriously? Kind of creepy, 2, dealing with people that talks down on you. Best description on them all were like high school bullies mentality.
In all my years licensed in Real Estate, I would NEVER talked down to any client as they have towards me. Itâs like a likable contest/treatment service here & laughable to get a call âď¸ from Heather (now gone) begging, not asking, but begging me to increased their ratings.
Did you KnowâŚ. If an Amazon Seller calls a Prime member or emails them to remove the 1 star rating & the Amazon Prime member does it, they are automatically banned from reviewing other sellersâď¸ Thatâs why, for those reading this, immediately REPORT when ANY LEASING AGENTs \ Employees contact yâall to upgrade the review. Stay true to yourselves.
They deserved a minus zero. â0. Donât be fooled but be...
Read moreforgot to write a review when i lived here and im using an anonymous account so they cant retaliate like they did to the other negative reviews lol but i wanna start off by saying management is useless. i lived at vermella since the building was fresh and i could physically see that they rushed the construction. the new appliances are the only good part of this complex, but if ur moving into a previously lived-in unit, i would call an inspector. management sucked really badly when i lived there, extremely condescending leasing office agents, mostly 'heather' and 'courtney'. consistently sending the most passive aggressive emails, charging you like $300 if you lock yourself out of your apartment because they only have these stupid fobs and no physical key which i now consider a fire hazard, and now it's time for my biggest gripe. the noise at this apartment complex is actually unreal. they have CAR MEETINGS AT 3AM IN THE PARKING LOT. worst part is the cars aren't even cool either. sitting in your parking spot and aggressively revving your rentals' stock engine at 1am for 30 minutes isn't as hot as you think it is btw. at your big age at that lol. im into cars and i think ts is lame especially because other people live around you. funniest part is the security guard is in on it. he doesnt care to tell them to stop revving their engines and racing around 1am on a monday, literally will just sit and watch. i sent so many noise complaint emails but management never did anything so i moved to NEWARK. I FIND NEWARK MORE PEACEFUL. i guess it's cool if you don't have a job or go to school or have any real commitments to wake up early, but im a full time student, so the noise was unbearable. i genuinely started going crazy living there. imagine you commute to school in the morning, commute to work, then at the end of the day, you would love to go home to your ""luxury"" apartment and just sleep. nah, as soon as you lay your head down, enjoy this stock purple sedan slamming on its' gas while parked directly under you for the next hour. hated this place so much i wish i could give it negative stars. oh, and before vermella responds, i will not modify or take down this review, you guys should have done your job when i lived there not long ago. to be fair, things can change in a few months, but this was my experience when i lived there and i think it's only fair i get to share my side since y'all refused to listen for so long. dragomir...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusted with my experience living here.
I watched on camera as another resident stole my package â and yes, that individual is now facing felony charges. Instead of addressing the situation responsibly, the leasing office tried to gaslight me, suggesting the package was never delivered, even though I clearly saw it on site. I had to involve the Woodbridge Police Department â again â just to view the security footage the leasing staff refused to show me.
This wasnât an isolated event. Over my time here, work property, personal packages, and valuable items were repeatedly stolen, and the leasing office showed zero concern. If youâre considering moving here, understand you are taking a major risk.
The package room is a joke: between 9 AM and 5 PM, anyone can walk in â doors wide open â and help themselves to your deliveries. Iâve literally watched strangers attempt to steal packages off the table. No staff intervening, no safeguards in place. If you are a thief, this is what you have been dreaming of.
Also, no cameras in the stairs Which is concerning in and of itself especially because there were times with the elevator stopped working and we all had to use the stairs that were sketchy, at best.
But theft is only part of the problem. ⢠A woman once came banging on doors at night, threatening to fight another resident and security had to call the police (again). ⢠Domestic disputes and police presence are frequent. ⢠Maintenance regularly enters apartments without permission, even when youâve specifically requested that no one enter unless you are present. (Shoutout out to all but one maintenance man who did not listen)
This place is lipstick on a pig. The outward appearance is nice (faulty doors, terrible electrical wiring, washing machines that flood), but underneath, itâs completely unsafe, unprofessional, and mismanaged.
Save yourself the heartache, stress, and potential loss. Do...
