I don’t know what it is with the breakfast hour but it must be the most difficult thing to do because of how strict they are with it . I called in to order a breakfast sandwich because online and in the store it says you have till 10:30 A.M after that no breakfast is served. I called around 10:15ish to ask if I can order it over the phone since online it was not allowing me . The person on the phone said no because they don’t take cards over the phone and have never done so . I was shocked because previous I was able to do it and they would take my card info. The lady said NO we have not I’ve been here for over 17 years and I said okay and I’ve never spoken to you because clearly I would not have been calling to order if this was established before . She said in a hostile manner and out breath I will put a District manager and I said OK but it’s not that serious because it’s just bread cheese and bacon. I just wanna go and pick it up. The district manager was on the phone. I explain the situation all over and the response was the system locks out 15 minutes prior from 10:30. Read moreI used to always go to panera's and some were good some were bad. But a couple of months ago I found out I am allergic to barley and olives (olive oil too). Recently I hadn't had a chance to eat before leaving the house and my boyfriend and I stopped here hoping I could get something like a salad. The last two times I've been to different Panera's they don't care about my allergies or are annoyed by looking up the ingredients to make sure. And when the food does they dont help me find other options so I just leave.
I was pleasantly surprised at the manager ( I didnt get his name but he was wearing a red shirt and glasses) who had knowledge of all the dishes and their ingredients. He got me what I wanted and took off the ingredients that I couldn't have as well as replacing some ingredients with other similar ones I could have. I was ecstatic! Read moreI've always liked Panera Bread, but I did not like my experience in this location. I had a rapid pick up order yesterday, drove home and realized they forgot my signature sandwich. I spoke to a manager on the same day and I was told to come back and they'll give me my sandwich. Fast forward to today, I went and explained my conversation with the manager yesterday. I ordered something else which I paid for, and then the cashier put in the signature sandwich which the manager then adjusted so that I am not charged for it. I got my bag and drove home...I was thinking of checking first if I had the 2 items I ordered but since I was in a rush and also in my mind, how can they make the same mistake twice?? True enough, they forgot to put in my sandwich AGAIN! Now I wish I hadn't ordered the extra salad so that it would have been obvious to know that I have something in the bag!
