Too fragile and a little overpriced.

Ordered a custom “Ready To Assemble” 34”x21”x4” acrylic display case for $219 plus tax and shipping. Good communication, adequate packaging in shipment. But item was delayed for days and arrived with a small piece of the base broken off, which I carefully glued back on and accepted.
Heavy, high-gloss, two-piece base material with integral magnets seemed adequate, despite small damage. High-grip bumpons keeps base secure on smooth surfaces. Cut and fit accuracy of panels were excellent.
But the large, clear acrylic panels were thin, fragile & cracked very easily at corners, where the holes for screws seemed too close to the edge to withstand the flexing caused by normal handling. The clear panels were very easily broken by normal hand-tightening of screws; they are too brittle for anything but quite gentle use of the included washerless steel screws/cubes provided for assembly. Got quoted another hefty $75 to replace two side pieces, with no apology for (or thanks for accepting) concealed damage.
IMO the clear acrylic material is only good for a small, very carefully assembled static display. It’s also too fragile for the price, and the assembly materials do not provide adequate support to allow for normal handling of the completed item without breakage. I superglued it together and am...
Read moreI purchased the Acrylic Locking 5 Shelf Front Opening Wall Mount Display Case. Upon arrival item was quickly decided that it was not the perfect need for my space. I contacted support to return item. Ashley gave me information as to where to return my item at my expense. Also noting that I should be sure to get insurance on shipment. This is where the scam began. I package the item in the same box & bubble wrap it arrived in. Item arrived to Shoppopdisplays within about 5 days. I was never contacted in regards to my refund until I emailed them. When asked about my refund they provided falsified photos stating the package arrived damaged. When I told them it was a lie. They quickly asked that I contact the carrier for refund, not even an discreet apology. If you want a nice Display. You found a nice place. But if you need to return your package DO NOT expect a refund because they are truly scamming in the return department where Jessica assistance is definitely Fraudulent services.
Pics provided is item when I sent it back vs. How they claim I sent it back. It is definite that they are breaking the items to avoid returning charges...
Read moreI placed a custom order on their website. As I proceeded to check out, the system informed me I needed to get a custom quote for shipping. I phoned them and they told me I have to have my own FedEx or UPS account. I have operated for 30 years without having to go that route. I have purchased items including museum displays and artifacts from around the globe. I have never had this happen before. I asked to talk to the manager who was no help at all; he gave me the illogical spiel, "that is our policy." What does that even mean? It's repeated over and over again by businesses who can't really explain why they operate in an illogical fashion. Customer service is gone folks. So here is a company, selling you items, which they won't ship to you unless you live in the U.S.A. (Oh, but if you have a FedEx or UPS account, then you can get them). My advice is they should make it clear on their site that they sell to Americans only and don't ship out of the country (unless A or B). Very illogical "policy" unless you want to serve Americans only. In 30 years of worldwide commerce, this is the first road block I have ever hit. That...
