I visit this specific Wells Fargo ATM about 3 times per year. Two weeks ago, the ATM at this location ate my card and did not give it back. I tried to withdraw $100 at the time, and the ATM never spit this money out to me. It was a freaking nightmare to call them and try to get them to understand that this money was never given to me, and should under no circumstances be shown as withdrawn from my account.
At the time it happened, I called Wells Fargo and asked them to send me a new bank card. It never arrived. Try again. I called a week later to have them send me a card (again). Never arrived. The third time I called, the person on the phone told me that no one ever attempted to send me a new card to begin with. A week later I go into the branch to withdraw money, and the manager behind the counter who happened to be serving me said she was never aware of the ATM eating customers cards, even though this branch specifically called me a week prior BECAUSE of the fact that it ate my card. Additionally, I spoke with four different representatives from Wells Fargo on the phone who were aware of the issue, so I'm highly confused as to how she is unaware. This tells me that they more than likely have NOT fixed the issue.
On a different note, the people inside of the branch should not be asking me what I am doing with money when I withdraw it. It is my money, and this is none of their business. You wouldn't just walk up to a random person on the street holding money and ask them what they are doing with it, how is this any different? Perhaps they need to work on their interpersonal skills, but it could just be coming from the top down, as congress recently gave Wells Fargo CEO Tim Sloan a four hour beating for the countless Scandals and Corruption that Wells Fargo is responsible for. I recommend researching just how slimy Wells Fargo is.
Wells Fargo itself has an absolute deplorable reputation.

Read moreI had a blast here ! I was on my way to the Cashe Creek Casino and realized I had no money. The night before, which turned out to be the same day , just morning hours, I had already reached my limit. I wasn't able to transfer or even advance from other accounts . I got on the phone with customer care and I was helped to navigate and get myself some money out that same day even though it was at Max widrawal limit for me. One employee had already hung up on me because I called the regular customer care and not the merchant line. After talking to the nice gentleman , I was able to use my business account to (transfer money) pay myself and withdraw from my personal account. Yay ! at the end of the call there was this survey which allows you to rate your experience of customer care. I was able to address and leave a recorded comment for how I was treated. It is always better to visit the bank during normal business hours , so you'd know what to expect because over the phone it is hard to get someone to think a solution. In person its a feeling of being accommodated and getting them to actually give you some money. I called the customer care phone number and I let them know, that this could have been done at any customer service phone number as I had talked to the bank. One teller told me that the phone operators are just people working from home and they get paid. I didn't belive it , but came to realize how much information I give other over the phone about my account and its access and I can only wonder how I'd be robbed from my own money. If you people have a chance , please stop by in person at this bank to get money and help. Try not to use their customer care number as much as you end up giving only your personal information...
Read moreI bank Wells Fargo I do 95% of my banking online I have a disability. On a occasion I'll need to stop by the Woodland branch to discuss account business. The afternoon I was there the bank was packed with people. The line looked insurmountable even with my walker I knew that I needed turn around come back on Monday. As I headed out of line a banker stopped me and referred me to vacant chair sitting in front of vacant teller station. Offered me a water and assured me a teller would be along shorty to help take care of my business well shortly turned into a 20 min.wait not complaining mind you, I told myself I am still in line only I'm sitting in front of vacant teller station asked myself can tellers see me? I'm below their line of sight "out of sight out of mind"getting up to flag someone down, I hear May help you? A banker it seemed liked he appeared of out nowhere was on station. They are professional people and made short work of my problem. They have a ATM machine inside the bank! An older model machine that if need be, it will dispense $5.00 and $10.00 dollar bills plus all the choices you have in a newer ATM what a great idea! I know that the West Sacramento branch doesn't have one. This #oldslowbadtypist knows in his heart at one time they must have dispensed $10's in a ATM I just can't remember. I will remember the great service I received today and the line I totally avoided. Thanks Wells Fargo Woodland Branch...
