My 83 year old mother bought tires from here and they wore out in 15,000 miles. The guy at the tire desk told me that Cooper wouldn't warranty the tires because they hadn't been rotated. I tried to explain to him that she doesn't drive over 30 MPH and she takes her car in for service and just tells them to "do whatever needs to be done" and she trusts that they will do all necessary maintenance. He said it didn't matter Cooper wouldn't warranty the tires. I asked for a phone number so I could plead my case to Cooper directly and he told me they didn't give that out, and that Cooper would go by the recommendation of the merchant and he was recommending they not cover the tires under the warranty. I then asked if they would cover them under the extended/roadside hazard warranty that she had purchased when she bought the tires and he said that was at his discretion and he would not cover them. I subsequently contacted the store manager who called me back over a week later and told me he would authorize the tires be covered under the extended/roadside hazard warranty. By the time he called back we had already gone to Wal Mart and replaced the tires. I told him that he was welcome to reimburse me for the cost of the tires since they were willing to cover them under the warranty and he said they would not do that. My personal feeling is that the tires wore out prematurely and for whatever reason the guy at the tire desk just wanted to sell more tires (perhaps he gets a commission). And the store manager intentionally dragged his feet returning my call hoping we would either buy new tires from them or go elsewhere so they wouldn't have to cover them. So his offer to cover them under the extended/roadside hazard warranty really rang hollow, because lets face facts who would allow a loved one to drive around on tires that are bald? I certainly wasn't going to, and I believe that the manager at Farm and Fleet was betting on that, and that is why he dragged his feet calling me back. I'll never shop at this...

About 2 years ago I purchased new tires for my Jeep at this Farm and Fleet and I have had nothing but terrible service since then. I purchased the Road Hazard Package when I purchased the tires and it has caused more trouble then its worth. The first time I came in to have a leak fixed they said it would be a total of 45 minutes but in reality it took then 45 minutes just to bring my vehicle in. The second time I had a leaking valve stem and the story was the same. The third time I came in was for a wheel alignment. This is where my troubles really started. I after about 45 minutes of them working on my Jeep they paged me over the intercom to come back to the service department. When I got back there the mechanic explained that the tie-rod end broke when he was adjusting the alignment and that I would have to pay for the parts and the labor to replace it. I just replaced that same part about 6 months prior due to some play in the steering wheel. I do understand that things break but I said I would not pay the labor. After talking to the lead he said fine and he would take care of the labor. That visit was a total waste of 4 hours of my life. My most recent experience with them was just 4 days ago. I brought my Jeep back in to have another leak fixed (terrible luck) and they said it would take a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes. I had no choice so I waited. 3 hours later it was finished. The following day I was driving to work and made it over 55MPH and the wheel started shaking. One of the wheels where out of balance. Today was the first time I had a chance to bring it back. When I got there and explained my situation to the mechanic he argued the fact that it was not their fault and I would have to wait like everyone else and they would not be able to look at it for at least 1 hour.
Don't ever buy any tires or have Farm and Fleet perform any services on...
Read moreWe usually visit about once month to stock up on bird seed, chicken feed & pine bedding, which often is on sale. You will also find gardening supplies, hunting needs, horse tack, fishing poles, you name it! Also, believe it or not, its our go-to place for baking add-ins such as tree nuts (whole or chopped), chocolate chips, coconut, mini M&Ms, peanuts, etc. The 16oz packages are VERY reasonable with quality comparable to or exceeding any store-bought brand. Hubby likes the Licorice Snaps candy and I always try to snag a bag of JawBreakers! Not to mention the trail mixes are always a great hit with my grandchildren. Blain's carries many brands & types of coffee products, we like VictorAllen coffee K-cups which are also periodically on sale. Laundry detergent is reasonable if you happen to need it. Clothing & shoes, although not items we regularly purchase at Farm N Fleet, are very good brands which wear well and are not normally found in your big "chain" department stores. They offer a HUGE tool department along with tarps, chains, mowers, paint, hardware, auto care items, etc. We have always found the Salesfolk extremely helpful & professional... you can ask them a question and actually get a smile and an answer, whether you are looking for advice on what gauge garden fencing to buy OR looking for the location of crockpots or pickling spices. The service desk is staffed by friendly team members as well. All in all, you will always find something you NEED at Farm N Fleet, and will probably go home with a few extra items you had no intention of buying. đ...
