I've been going to Official Cuts for 10 years overall now.
Just recently visited the Bridgeview location for my first time as my current barber relocated there.
About 5 years ago, my previous barber was extremely booked and asked me if I would be okay with having the barber in the chair over cut my hair to keep me from waiting.
I was hesitant at first considering this barber was a young guy and I wasn't sure what to expect.
It turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
After my haircut I was instantly satisfied, the attention to detail was unparalleled. He even took pictures to add to his portfolio. There is a reason he is currently my barber.
Needless to say over the course of the last 5 years I watched that young guy, Carlos a.k.a. LOSO, perfect his craft and grow to be the phenomenal barber he is today and I can't see myself going anywhere else.
In addition, LOSO is very courteous and always greets every person to walk through the door.
Had he not relocated I probably wouldn't have stepped foot into the Bridgeview location as I've heard they were "selective" of their clients in the past but, times are changing and that no longer seems to be the case.
10/10...
Read moreI don't normally write reviews, but I'd like to give the crew at Official Cuts the credit they deserve. I've been going here for 3 - 4 years. During that time period I've had 2 barbers at the shop cut my hair. That said, I watch the other barbers work while I'm getting my haircut, and I think they're all pretty talented.
There are pros and cons to everything. So, let me start with the bad: (1) It's a little pricey, and (2) you'll have to book an appointment a few days in advance if you want to see the same barber each time.
The GOOD news is that if you decide to go, you're going to get the best haircut you've ever had.... seriously, I'm not exaggerating. The quality and attention to detail is unbelievable. The fades are on point, the beard and shave services are top notch, and the atmosphere is just cool.
You can go to your regular barber shop and get in and out in 20 minutes. Or, you can spend a few extra bucks and have someone spend 45 minutes to an hour making sure that everything is perfect. That's the reason that I keep coming back to...
Read moreAwful just awful. My boyfriend has been going there and every time he’s gone he’s waited over 2 hours to get a cut! Last Saturday he got there at 9:56 and ended up leaving at 12:46 without a haircut. Went again during the week and same thing! Just ridiculous! We understand appointments come first but how about you take a moment and let your paying customer know that there are a few appointments coming in and it’ll be awhile before anyone can take you. It’s called common courtesy. Last time I checked the more guys you cut the more money you got? How does this place even stay in business!? If you have nothing to do and want to waste your time this...
