Spencer's — Local services in Worth Township

Spencer's used to be my favorite store to go to when I was younger. The first store me and my friends would run into when we got to the mall with Spencer's. They had awesome up-to-date shirts signs keychains anything that you can imagine, but now it's horrible. They have a lot of that stuff but it's so overpriced it's not even worth walking into the store and their clearance section is ridiculous because their prices are so high. And now they have a section in the back where basically it's all vibrators and sex toys. It's just ridiculous I cannot even stand going into the store anymore. If I'm with somebody and they want to go into that store I'll either wait outside or go into another store by it. And on top of it the young people that they have working there are often their own world they don't greet anybody that comes through the door and the language they use is worse than any truck driver or sailor I've ever heard in my life. I would definitely not suggest bringing small children there if you don't want them to hear that type of language. Very...

I wonder the family comment is true .I came to Spencer and every employee greeted me they are really nice I was looking for baseball hat a funny one with no commercial logo I was looking more than half hour I look every where and I left with out buying any thing and looked other places in the mall and back again to Spencer most of the hat close to exit and I try many I liked one and no body bother me but I left to kohl and back to Spencer. I got the hat all this time Ben there no body question me other than friendly and nice employee let's be fair . it's fun place to spend time wondering how this owner collect all the funny stuff in this store and I know Spencer for years only thing change is the merchandise for the time . I always visit Spencer even if I don't buy any thing...

The very few times I've stopped by, employees have been ready and quick to serve customers. Even on packed busy days, they were very helpful. It's been a few months. I finally stopped by for a pillow and found it up on the shelves. Took awhile to find an employee because both the girls kept leaving the register empty while customers were waiting to check out. Then wandering about the floor instead of helping the few customers. When i finally found one and asked if they could bring it down, they said no. I wasted a trip for an item they had instock but didn't want to get down.

Drove to North Riverside same day and bought it there instead. Always pleasent at...
