Torrid — Local services in Worth Township

This location has terrible customer service I felt like I had to keep asking for help and when I did the employees seemed like they were being bothered. No one smiled or tried helping. When cashier took me to dressing room she said the other employee in fitting room would help me out but I was never asked if I needed another size or anything else to go with my outfits. She was to busy taking out new merchandise and never greeted me. There was three employees and they looked like they didn't want to be there. I spend more than $200 because I love shopping at Torrid but not sure if want to go back to this location. 2 days later I went to the location at North Riverside mall and there was only one person there Genova. whoever the manager is (taller white woman in a mask with light brown or blondish hair) needs to be humbled. i was being assisted by an incredibly kind employee who was clearly new. anytime she asked the manager a question, she treated her with passive aggression and condescending comments. in retrospect, i wish i would’ve defended her but i was taken aback and trying to sus out if the behavior i was witnessing was actually true.

and what was so messed up was that the new employee was STILL being so nice despite her managers comments.

manager, if you are reading this— the energy you are putting out into the world WILL indeed be returned to you. be kind. it’s never that serious.

I was looking for an outfit for my birthDAY trip and I found the perfect outfit in Torrid. Although on location didn't have my size the Northriverside location did. The best thing was when I walked into the store, there was this cute little dress that I had to have and they had my size!!! I left with 2 birthDAY out fits and I was able use my birthday discount and a store promotion...my birthDAY trip to Houston was perfect!!! Honestly, my pictures don't do any justice for this outfit, the pants were breezy, flowing and light and the top has a tie-front, SUPER CUTE!!! I was comfy on it the whole day, on my flight going & coming back. I took my jacket off at the bar be fore dinner. Can't wait to wear it again. Torrid for the WIN...
