Perhaps you are reading this because you are looking for a venue for your special event. Congratulations, you’ve found it. First, the venue itself is gorgeous. It is aesthetically glorious; the owners having preserved the beauty of the original architecture, while incorporating the perfect amount of modern characteristics. The lighting is romantic and mysterious, the furniture comfortable and lovely, and the facilities clean and accessible. Where you will feel you have truly found a gem is with the staff. We worked with Scott, who could very well be the most organized and proactive event coordinator I’ve had the pleasure to work with. On site was the manager, Heather, who coordinated every need and want that came up during the event. I saw both her and Scott helping the staff with their duties as well, as an extra layer of support to ensure all ran smoothly. The waitstaff was flawless and efficient, and the bartender was fast but also careful in his cocktail preparation. I wish there was a sixth star I could check above. Scott took care of our every need in putting on a fabulous funeral luncheon after my Mom passed away. Instead of having lunch after Mass in a stuffy country club or loud restaurant, we had awesome catering done by Beggars, deserts from Iverson's Bakery, a bright projector to put up images of Mom's life time on a massive screen, and a professional sound system for people to tell stories of her life that spanned her 87 years. Their buffet service was constantly replenished and the bar did a great job providing pop, coffee, and drinks to everyone there. The venue is fantastic with a great feel and helped all of us celebrate more than mourn a great lady's passing. They even put her name on the Marquee out front! I love the idea of using family owned businesses that are local to the neighborhood. The Lyric Theater checked every box for our family and went above and beyond in ways we couldn't even think of. I booked an Artist into this venue on April 30th in 2023. I just had someone mention the Lyric with such positive comments and I thought to make a review. From our standpoint this venue was one of the top venues from all of the places we have traveled world-wide taking into consideration the management, ownership, staff, venue, production value and more. Pat, the manager was so hospitable and accommodating. Since we traveled from out of state I cannot speak to other shows but clearly their 4.9 star rating does that already.
