Hallberg Center for the Arts — Local services in Wyoming

I finally made it to my first visit to the Hallberg Center for the Arts and must say I was incredibly impressed with the center! The photo exhibit was especially delightful to see. There are several gifted photographers that had their creation on display. The center has much to offer as far as exhibits coming up and also has local songwriters coming in on certain nights. I took the linocut block printing class tonight, and created a beautiful wearable scarf.

The instructor was wonderful, and guided the group through the process, step by step. She also offered tips and tricks along the way as well, which made learning easier We got to keep the blocks for future use, and of course the printed scarf.

Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, not stuffy at all. They have real artwork from the folks that live in this area. The artists were on hand to talk about their work and answer questions.
