I don't typically write reviews unless something particularly stands out to me. Unfortunately, tonight what stuck with me was terrible customer service. I pulled into the DQ parking lot at 9:38pm with the intention of going through the drive-thru. I watched three teens go inside and a couple come out. All the spots closest to the building were full. I proceeded to pull to the speaker. Whomever was on the headset had left it on previously. I overheard her tell a customer in the lobby that "she has to close the store...." as the speaker faded out. About thirty seconds later the same irritated voice asks what I would like to order. At this point it is 9:40pm. She informs me aggressively that they have no more food for the evening and that I can only order ice cream. Keep in mind this is twenty minutes till the store's official closing time. I was terribly disappointed. I understand that fast-food and customer service can be abrasive on a person's well-being, especially a hard day. I've been there, I've worked in fast-food and as a barista. However, no food twenty minutes prior to close is outlandish. Twenty minutes to close you are cleaning up the best you can, dishes getting done, informing customers inside that they have twenty minutes, etc. At this point, likely only using one fryer for potatoes and one for other fried items, possible only one grill top open. Usually, there is a closing list that gets followed every single night so things go as smooth as they can. However, food doesn't stop, it's cook to order so that way there...
Read moreI’ve never really thought that this DQ was great. I’ve had some positive experiences here but mostly I have been very disappointed. On my most recent visit I ordered through the mobile app. It said my food would be ready at 12:55. I get there at 12:50 and all the doors are locked. After calling and nobody picking up. A employee comes to the door and tells me they open at one. The sign on the door clearly stated that they open at 10:00. I was confused and a little annoyed at this point. I should also say there were 2 other people waiting at the entrance. I wait 10 minutes and the employee opens the doors to let us in. I tell them I have a mobile pick up order for 12:50 and they say it will be ready soon. I ordered ice cream and a burger. I took a seat and waited for yet another 10 minutes. I go up to the counter again and ask about my food I see a ice cream sitting on the counter and ask if that might be mine. The young lady checks and sure enough it is. It was melting on the counter for 5 minutes. At this point I’m really annoyed because I wanted this to be a quick stop. But I still haven’t gotten all I ordered. After another 6 minutes they got my burger out to me. They got my food to me 21 minutes after they said they would. And I still don’t know why they opened at 1:00 the employees didn’t say. And only got really annoyed when I asked. Unless they step up their game I’m not coming back...
Read moreLet's add more to this location and the terrible management. Ordered a signature stack burger and a large fry on the mobile app. My big issue is that my fry was only half full. Went in the store asked for a full fry and could hear the employees complaining. Slow service and half made orders aren't a good look. I should have gone to McDonald's
I go to this DQ once a week usually, they open at 10:00am or they are supposed to but the last 4 times I have ordered on my mobile app (which makes you pay with card) typically around 10:45am for an 11am pick up when I arrive to pick up my order I'm told by employees the kitchen is not up and running come back later. No one knows how to refund a mobile order so I'm stuck waiting for my lunch that I have already paid for on their time when I only have 30 minutes for lunch. This DQ should be making good money considering the location but they aren't ready to operate on time and I've seen them turn away a lot of customers in the last few weeks. Can't imagine how much money they're missing out on. Very poor...
