We held a wedding rehearsal dinner at this establishment. As I am not from the area, all arrangements had been made via phone and email, and all details had been agreed upon. We had 35 adults and 7 children in the party, a number that I had been told the room could easily hold. It did, but it was tight. I had made it clear that I did not want drink tickets as part of the dinner - instead the servers were to offer each guest a beverage of their choice, and I was told that would be fine. When I arrived I was informed that "we decided drink tickets would work better". I was not happy about that. I had also asked in advance if I could bring in cupcakes for dessert and was told that would be fine as long as I brought my own serving platters, etc. I came prepared. There was only one table to place them on, and I was told that it was where servers placed dirty dishes. Again, not very pleased about that, but when I asked that it not be used for dirty dishes the staff respected the request. The chair covers and tablecloths were extremely wrinkled, and the chair bows were very sloppy - some at an angle. If I knew in advance that they would look this bad I would have requested to leave them off. I had chosen ribeye, walleye, chicken breast and ribs as the entrees. From what I heard the chicken and ribs were prepared well and tasted good, but the walleye and ribeye were bland and a disappointment. One guest did not receive their entree, and it was prepared after everyone else had already been served. The salads were fine and the bread was actually my favorite part of the dinner. I received the bill and the price, including tax and gratuity, seemed to be fine. Later I saw that my bank card had been charged $200 more than the bill I had seen, and in the general hubbub of everyone leaving I did not get a copy of the tab. I don't have any idea what that was about (Maybe the drinks hadn't been included? I don't know. I would hate to think it was an intentional rip off.) and frankly, by that time, I just wanted to forget about the event and did not pursue it. I would not plan an affair here in the future.
That being said, the servers were friendly and efficient, and the best part of the dinner. If it wasn't for them this would be a two...

Everything we tried was mouthwatering and left us wanting more. Even the homemade croutons on the salad!
To start, we had the Cowboy Corn Bites. These were something I had never tasted before, and I'm so glad we ordered. Every bite was perfect and loaded with flavor.
The standout of their menu is undoubtedly the Lucy Burger. Which my husband devoured in seconds. This was his first in Minnesota, as we are not from here. He said it was really good and described it as biting into a perfectly grilled, juicy beef patty, stuffed with a generous portion of molten cheese that oozes out with each delicious bite. Topped with fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and crispy onions, all nestled between a soft, toasted bun, the Lucy Burger is a masterpiece that promises to delight your taste buds and leave you craving more.
Another highlight at Cornerstone Bar and Grill is their Prime Rib Dinner. I saw this and immediately knew i had to give it a try. Im glad I did. This dish is the epitome of comfort and luxury, featuring a succulent, perfectly seasoned cut of prime rib that melts in your mouth. Served with a rich, flavorful au jus, and accompanied by your choice of sides, this meal is a true celebration of hearty, classic American cuisine. I got the mashed potatoes with gravy and a salad on the side and was delighted with the homestyle taste of each. Whether you're enjoying a quiet dinner for two or a festive gathering with friends, the Prime Rib Dinner is sure to impress! I've had prime rib in numerous states and restaurants and this is one of my favorites so far.

Read moreCornerstone Pub and Prime is located in the center of downtown Wyoming, in a historic building just across the street from the Wyoming central park. Entrance to the bar/restaurant is through the back entrance (follow the signs).
The room is so cozy and comfortable! Parking is easy, with a large lot directly behind Cornerstone. The atmosphere inside Cornerstone is SO COMFORTABLE and relaxed! I was surprised at how crowded it was at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday! It shows how popular Cornerstone is.
All of the serving staff were so incredibly efficient, and the food to my large group arrived together and hot. Well tabled. Graisen, our server, was just a wonderful waitress - very attentive, efficient and gracious, with always a large smile on her face. Portion sizes are large, and I had their "signature Prime Rib" which was large and delicious. Prepared perfectly (see my photos). Our appetizers for my group of friends were the artichoke dip (delicious bread!), and the "cowboy corn bites" - also unique, slightly spicy, and nicely crunchy. Prices were in-line for a pub/restaurant.
Once it is cold enough outside, they will flood their on-site ice rink located next to the building!
There is a very deep and large beer menu also, with around 20 local and regional craft beers on tap, including nitro lines. There are large-screen TV's throughout the bar area, and local games were being shown (Go Wild!). Again, the atmosphere in the bar was fantastic and so much fun, hence my 5 star rating. If you want good food, at reasonable prices, served in a relaxed and beautiful space, then make the trek north to Cornerstone. I'm happy I did! ...
