I've had no issues with either piece of jewelry we purchased from this establishment. I do however have an issue with their ethics. 14 years ago we bought our wedding bands on a referral from a good friend. I had an engagement ring from a previous relationship that didn't work out. Ken offered to buy it or put it on consignment and strongly believed it could be sold relatively quickly having looked it over and determining it's fair market value. I opted for the consignment and over time, I'd call every few years just to make sure it hadn't been overlooked. I really did not want the ring back as it represented a difficult time in life. Today, I worked up the courage to retrieve it. Receipt in hand, I walked in and was politely greeted. I presented my documentation and after a short time was told it couldn't be located! I left with the understanding I'd be called back in a few days. 15 minutes later I received a call that it had been found. It absolutely bewilders me that after all these years, no one from this establishment had a customer looking for a value priced princess cut diamond ring and reassures me now that my interests were never a priority. 14 years is a long time, I guess that's why my ring wasn't important after the check cleared the bank for our purchases and obviously never presented as an option for someone, simply stuffed away in a safe until this day arrived. For any jewelry needs I always to go Russell and Ballard. Ken is amazing and never makes you feel pressured. He is very honest and knowledgeable. Each time I have needed a cleaning, or one time when a small stone fell out, he always takes care of it for free. They have such a large selection with all different price points. Also, if you just tell him the stone and style of ring you are looking for, he will go out and find it for you. They also carry a large selection of Alex and Ani brand and are one of the only places around that do. Went there to have my watch battery replaced. About a week later while swimming the water flooded my watch ruining it. I took the watch back and they said the crystal was cracked and said they had nothing to do with it being cracked. Funny how that just got cracked . It was working perfectly before taking my watch there besides the battery. They acted kinda rude when I asked them were were they going to do about it and the man actually said I guess you think we are going to replace the watch? And he said ok I would Anyway that was over a month ago and have yet to hear anything...
