Our first time having Mr. Burger was today.
We did a drive-thru run around 4pm. Wasn't too busy. Fairly quick experience considering the size of the order and time of day. Building looked well kept. Staff was friendly. Parking lot was easy to navigate.
Both of our burgers were good: Mr. Burger and Olive Burger. Lived up to the name.
Shakes were tasty. A bit thick for the size of straw but none the less, good times.
The first issue we will take partial blame. We ordered 1 onion rings and got 2. When we got the total it seemed a little high, but again, our first trip here so we didnt know what to expect.
Second issue was my chili cheese fries. Fries were lacking any flavor or seasoning. Chili was fairly bland, almost with a hint of old school canned corned beef hash. And there was no sign of cheese to be seen. Checking the receipt did show that it was supposed to include cheese.
Had the burgers not been so good, I would have given 2 stars. But missing the cheese on the chili cheese fries is like missing the bacon and condiments on a bacon cheeseburger. A total let down :/
Hoping to give them another try in the future and hope this visit was just a hiccup. It's a good place to go, just check your receipt and order if you are doing...
Read moreBeen coming here for 25 years 3 days a week for lunch, usually getting the Mr. Burger Combo. Used to be a great value and now they are hiding their rising prices. Went there today, and they always had a sign for the Super Breakfast and Mr. Burger Combo listed for the same price. Noticed the sign only listed the Super Breakfast (and yes, it was a new sign because the price was increased). Last time I got the Mr. Burger combo recently, it was $7.58 out the door. Got it today not knowing how much it costs, and cashier said it is now $9.42 total. WOW, almost a $2 increase! I sure wish my salary went up that much of a percentage. Had a sign been posted displaying the new price, I would have walked out the door and went to a higher end local or national chain restaurant who are now less and higher quality than Mr. Burger. Sorry Mr. Burger, but you lost a 25 year, 3-day a week lunch...
