I Got Games — Local services in Yucaipa

This review is long overdue, but very well deserved; this is the greatest Retro game store in all of Southern California. I first met Matt (one of the owners, nicest guy on Earth) after I found a stack of old N64 games and needed some cash. I likely got 10x more than what GameStop would’ve paid me for the same games. Some time had passed before I came back to the shop, but once I rediscovered my love for Retro gaming, it has been my go-to spot (my home store) I Got Games has literally the best prices you’ll find, so I purchased an Original Xbox, 360, GameCube, Gameboy Advance SP, and my PS2 from them (along with dozens of games for each console) and every single time the Consoles have been in perfect working condition and the Games are flawless! I’ve traded in many items for store credit and I always feel like I’m getting a good deal and really appreciate how welcoming they are into the shop. Karen is always very friendly and never shies away from casual conversation, even while pricing and placing labels. You guys have a multitasking pro! I’ve met the other owner only once in passing, but I could tell he really appreciated me coming into the store with a warm welcome. I’m so very thankful to have rediscovered this passion and can’t wait to come back to California and visit so I can add even more to my growing collection. Went today to sell some games and handhelds… was greeted and welcomed right when I walked in the door. The young lady (sorry I did not get her name) at the counter took my stuff in all while giving complements about some of the games I brought in. She informed me her boss ( I believe his name is Matt) was about to return from a break and would help me shortly and to take a look around. Matt came no more than 5 minutes later and greeted the whole store as he walked in and was very friendly. We went through some small details about condition and what not for the stuff I was selling. He was not only very knowledgeable but also very personable through out the transaction; which seems to be a hard combination these days. He gave me a very fair offer and sent me the money through Zelle. Over all the transaction was pretty quick but in that short amount of time both employees were very welcoming and personable. Matt is one of the best guys to know around here, his knowledge and experience really is top tier. He’s super friendly and his staff is definitely passionate in what they do! Along with a good attitude and wealth of respect for his customers, you can’t ask for any better!

I have purchased an original PlayStation from him, and he helped me out so much by finding some of the games I grew up playing!! And still continue to never disappoint!!! His selection is very good and his prices are some of the best around. He would look around for certain titles for you as well. Plus, he will offer you to test them and make sure they work before you leave! Not many places out there who do that!
