Maria Pollo — Restaurant in Yucaipa

Chicken and burritos are great, I really enjoyed the fact that the burritos have cheese. The chicken was tasty and the side dishes were too. I would rather come here than go to a big name franchise that sells mentally unstable chicken. That being said I have to knock it down by a lot because the customer service really needs improvement. When I go out to eat I or my wife don't need to be treated as if we are asking for a favor when I'm opting to spend my money there. I have notice several customers complain about the customer service and mentioned that the young man that works here also gave them an unpleasant experience. I have to agree with them. If you don't mind eating at a place that serves your chicken with a little attitude this is a spot. I rather be treated like a customer than somebody that's just in the way of an employees leisure time. Will I come back? Maybe. Take note, listen to your customers complaints. If several customers have had a terrible customer service experience there's probably many more that haven't expressed it online. Fix the Problem talk to your employees and correct it before you start losing customers over bad experiences. It's a shame because I could have easily given you four stars but when I do reviews of customer service is horrible I automatically knock it off...

If you like chicken with excellent potato salad and rice, beans, or any side this is the place too go. Their chicken is rotissere and literally falls off if you shred it, it's so tender. The potato salad is too die for! Not sure if it's homemade but it sure doesn't come out of a box. And there's plenty more choices. I beleive they hsve a "Taco Tuesday" buy one get one free. (correct me if im wrong.) And I was told they have a signature. "Corn on the cob" people rave over. I always get the lunch special for dinner. It comes with two peices of chicken, potato salad, rice, your choice of flour or corn tortillas, medium or hot salsa , and a beverage of your choice. All for under $7.00. Now how bad is that! love this place I eat here just about every chance I have to do so. Yet I do think every meal should come with a drink. Her chicken is soaked in lemon water each and every night their tacos are almost always packed to the core with chicken and the food is made to order and the price is just right when it comes down to comparing them to other restaurants that are alike damn even ones that aren't alike prices are just right!
