Called Lucyâs on Monday and told the gentleman on the phone I been smelling gas in my kitchen next to the oven for a few weeks. Gentleman asked how old the oven was and I said about 10 years maybe and tried to sell me a new oven. Asked him if he had gas detection equipment and he said no but said you could open the oven and take it apart and itâs â500 or so piecesâ and try to find the leak myself or buy a new oven. He then said was it a GE and I said yes then he said probably call GE and they might come out. I said thanks then dialed the gas company they came out and determined there was leaks on the flex tubing connectionâs. The gas company employee was very nice and saved our lives. I would never recommend and or shop here again. The gentleman cared more about selling a new oven even though ours was fine. It was just the connection from the gas line to the oven line That was leaking. I will be shopping elsewhere...
   Read moreI bought a GE freezer at the end of July last year, and it stopped working, and we had an emergency because my baby's milk back ups are in there. I called GE and got an appointment, but the soonest available was 2 days from now, so I called them to see if they could get me in any sooner and they couldn't, but they offered to pre-chill and deliver a loaner freezer to keep my things frozen until our freezer is fixed! Excellent customer service, and I can't recommend them highly enough! I feel like it's back in the Andy Griffith days. Shamefully, I typical shop the big box stores for big items like this, but I found that Lucy had the same prices and rebates available, and I can almost guarantee that any big box store wouldnât have customer service anywhere near this great!    Read moreThe 3 year old LG refrigerator gave up the ghost only 1 month after we moved into a new home. We searched all over for a white Dutch door bottom freezer refrigerator. I remembered Lucy's. We had purchased a few appliances from them since 1986. I called and they had what we wanted in the warehouse!!!! The pandemic shortages in white appliances was epic. Dan Lucy assisted us with the purchase of the new GE refrigerator, AND gave us a loner refrigerator at no cost.Dan helped load the loner onto our truck, and off we went home to salvage our food. It took a week to get the new refrigerator installed, but having the loner made it easier. Lucy's took the old trashy refrigerator and the loner. WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
