Unique and Special. However I am very surprised there are not more warnings about how steep this trail truly is. I walk 3-5 uphill daily intentionally for excercise (and have for years) and cannot imagine how the average middle-age person could possibly complete this loop. The grades on this climb (initially up to the bridge especially 50%+) are VERY STEEP. We had perfect weather. We entered at 7:50 (took month to get an early time slot) and when we left at 9:30 the place was mobbed (late September “slow” season.” I would NEVER attempt this if it were wet. Bottom of the gorge was amazing. THIS TRAIL IS BEYOND STEEP UP AND DOWN AND WITH STAIRS.

It's magical! Fun for kids or even a first date! Lots to see! Great music and light shows.
You walk through the woods for about an hour. 2.6 km.
Also over the 559 foot long bridge! Super nice! It really doesn't move much at all, a guide makes sure no one starts jumping before you get on. You don't see how high you are because it's dark.
The lights work along with the music. Short videos too.
Line ups are not at ALL what the used to be because of covid. 30 people at a time.
Also, no guidance needed. You're free to roam and take your time.
Not much of a hike, more a walk.
Exit through the boutique in the end.

MUST VISIT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. In awe! as to how they converted a simple trail into something this beautiful. The whole trail is illuminated. Its like a live story telling experience. so many elements to interact with. the river in between, the Bridge, the fireflies.. wonderful experience. The whole walk takes about 1-1.5hrs depending up the time time you want to spend at each exhibit. Photos done do justice. You have to experience it. book ticket in advance and show up on time. there is a huge line up. Parking available. Visited at 11:30pm it was so worth it: time and money

Great experience! 9pm slot was full so we had to pay extra for the flexible ticket in order to squeeze into the slot (*hint*hint* money talk). If there’s a specific time slot you want to go for, book early or pay the higher price for the flexible ticket.
They probably can add more people to each time slot in my experience. It didn’t feel that crowded at all.
It was a great experience. We all enjoyed the lights, the atmosphere, the photo, and the people.
Side note: the shop could consider selling bug spray and advertise it. None of us got any bug bites though :).

Camping within the Coaticook Gorge Park. Next to Foresta Lumina light show. Access to numerous trails for hiking, mountain bikes and snowshoeing. The trails are moderate but with some tricky parts and lots of up and downs in elevation. Beautiful views along the way; falls and rock formations. Many deer sightings along the way. Camping site sizes vary wildly with some of them tiny and with no privacy to speak of. Clean amenities and staff is helpful.

I only did the tour of the river and, while the suspended bridge was pretty cool, it wasn't as awesome as I thought from a website - it was an article from Mtl blog, probably that's why. But there's a few mountains you could hike very near around it, maybe that would help enrich the experience.
Also, Google maps brought me towards the camp... Don't follow Google, once in the city follow the provincial signs, they'll take you to the welcome center :)

Inside the park is very nice. There are many activities to keep the whole family entertained. The park is set up to entertain both kids and adults. The mountain bike trails are nice. The park is situated next to a very large water treatment facility and frequently the smell would overpower the campsite. Overall, the trip was enjoyable but the smell was hard to ignore.

I recently visited the gorge parc and while I initially found the entry fee to be a bit higher compared to places like SEPAQ parks or others, I think the variety of activities makes up for it. There’s plenty to do, including a well-maintained camping area, a kids’ playground, and a designated swimming section.
A helpful tip for future visitors: there are three main entrances to the park, and I recommend using the second entrance, the camping entrance, as it’s the most convenient.
Once inside, there are three main trails:
1- The Promenade Trail: A relaxed walk leading to a local farm, ideal for families with young kids or anyone looking for an easy stroll.
2- The Mountain Trails: These offer a bit more challenge with scenic views and nature immersion. You can connect to them from the Couillard Tower for a longer exploration.
3- The Grotte Trail: This is the highlight for most visitors and takes you through some of the park’s most iconic features. The suspension bridge is probably the most memorable part, offering sweeping views and a bit of excitement as you cross. Along this trail, you’ll also encounter The Grotte (though it’s not particularly large or spectacular), The Couillard Tower (which provides some great photo ops with a panoramic view), and the dams. There’s also the Foresta Lumina, which adds a magical touch, especially if you visit at the evening.
In total, the three trails cover around 10 km, which can be comfortably completed in 3 hours or less, making it an easy and enjoyable hike for most people. The suspension bridge was a nice experience, and the view from the tower was definitely a highlight.
Overall, it’s a great trip for those who don’t want a very demanding hike but still want to enjoy some beautiful scenery and light adventure. Though the entry fee might seem high, the variety of activities and ease of access make it a worthwhile visit.
Don’t forget to take a break at laitière coaticook for some delicious dessert.

Great service, super beautiful! Not a hard hike, more of a walk through. Great experience.
There are 2 activities here. Daytime hiking and at the same exact spot, nighttime lightshow on the trail. Foresta lumina. Night show you don't go as far. Only an hour long. Day you have the full 3.5 km gorge trail and more if you like.
There's a lot more to see than just the bridge. And history to read along the way. There's even a cave you can walk into and a high lookout tower.
You can decide how long you want to walk for as well. Normally it's 3.5 klm. to see everything by the dam.
Tickets can be bought online or right on site. For daytime it's quicker to just buy at the place. Good for all day. And all the trails.
The bridge doesn't move much at all. Maybe if you get someone jumping around a lot.
Also, you can bring your dog if it's on a leash!
And I wouldn't recommend strollers. 3 places with a lot of stairs but people do do it, however not alone!
Also, free to anyone who lives in the area!
Otherwise 8$ adults, 4.75$ first kid (4 to 15) and $3 ea additional child.

Great place for a hike while enjoying a beautiful view. Within the grounds you can also see the Foresta Lumina. It's 8$ per person, but very reasonable for trekking within a magnificent park. There is a very narrow suspended pedestrian bridge, longest in history, worth crossing. If you're afraid of heights, there is another way through the park.
Beautiful waterfall views, the peaceful sound of water running, tall hemlock trees, Tour Couillard tower standing 30 feet high; be prepared to walk up 7 stories of stairs with a fabulous lookout view at the top. There's even an old cave through which the water used to run through, water still trickles down the walls within. Lots of nature to enjoy. Definitely worth a visit. Check it out.

A good value for the $ but....
I would like to see better signage. There are lots of trail signs but they all leave you wondering if you are actually heading in the right direction. There are maps here and there but several don't show you where you are on the map. We took a wrong turn somewhere and had a heck of a time finding our way back. I'm an advanced hiker and these are gravel paths so I'm not hiking beyond my ability.
Also, when you get to the lighted section there are bare wires in a couple of different spots. I'm not sure if they are live or not but looks sloppy.
As a positive, the area was nice and tidy and the campground looked very nice and was reasonably priced and we would definately recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Lots of activities to appeal to everyone. We went mountain biking on the trails which were well-maintained. There weren’t any paper trail maps available which was a downside. The pump track/skills area was great with different heights of drops to practice as well as slalom and table tops. Access to the trails is through the camp ground which looks large and well tended. The parking lot had an electric vehicle charger available. We stopped after our bike ride at the picnic area near the splash pad which was great for the little kids. There’s a snack bar on site at the camping reception as well. We then finished our visit with a walk through the woods to the suspension bridge across the gorge which had great views. Highly recommend.
