Good way to ruin a night. Anyone who suggests this place has amazing, or even good food hasn't hit the pavement enough around Istanbul. I was fully prepared to get my cocktail on at this place and have a great night, but when it takes 45 minutes to have one made, your dreams are going to be shattered. Price for performance on food, this place scores a triple bogey. It however gets 1 star for the view. Whoever designed this place failed interior design miserably. Instead of seating the tables parallel to the glass (like every other rooftop restaurant in the world) these morons decided to seat you so that one person has a view, and one doesn't, at right angles to the glass. If you're lucky enough to have the seat facing the view, there's a good chance your night vision will be ruined by the bright blue 5ft high lighting triangles strategically arranged against the glass panes as to reflect the light in such a way that it perfectly obscures the entire city from a seated position. Want to put lighting outside at nighttime? Keep it in the other end of the spectrum - that's yellow to red. So after asking for my 2nd cocktail for the 3rd time, it finally arrives 43 mins after ordering - 2 hours into an average meal. Soon after we were asked if we wanted dessert, but the menu never arrives, despite asking for it once more. To even get the bill I had to walk over and stand near the exit, then he pissed and moaned that I didn't leave a tip. They didn't care about the rubbish service - they know they'll never see me again, maybe they'll up their game when the tips stop coming through. Service fees and tips are not fixed and not compulsory in Turkey, if you received bad service, speak with your Lira. I'll note I usually leave 20% if the service is good, and that this was the only restaurant I didn't tip at, in all of Istanbul - the service was that bad. And why is there ice in the urinal...? Thanks for...

I was walking around in Istanbul when I saw a billboard about this place, which looked great indeed so I thought to myself that I have to have lunch there for "the amazing experience". As the big purple guy said " Reality is often disappointing" I left that place with a bitter taste and I don't feel the urge to ever come back. Now let me tell you why. Firstly I will start with the view. They call it 360, but you can honestly enjoy only the side of the restaurant facing the Bosfor straight, not the whole city of Istanbul. On the other sides the buildings are as tall as the building which houses the restaurant so unless you fancy looking at concrete walls there isn't much to see. 120 Istanbul would have been a better name. Secondly the serving is a little bit trickery if I can say it so. After we were seated the waiter asked us if we want still or sparkling water. We opted for the second option. No other info was mentioned. After that we ordered our main course. As we did that the waiter promptly asked if we don't want some appetizers first. We said NO, but we received something nonetheless. The meal was OK-ish, smaller in size that the usual Turkish restaurant and they charged at least double the price for it. Speaking of charging the restaurant is perceiving a 10% tip tax and another 15% serving tax from the total price of your check. Moreover we were charged for the water and for the appetizers although we didn't ordered them. We just got them and we naively thought they were on the house. I didn't liked this at all because I felt somehow forced to order more than I wanted and subsequently pay more. That will be all. If somebody had the patience to read through all of this here is the conclusion. I rate this place 3.6 Star Not Great,...

THIS IS THE WORST EVER RESTAURANT. DO NOT GO THERE!!! We've made a group reservation of set menu of unlimited food and drink for 2 hours. This in all respected restaurants means that they serve agreed menu during 2 hours and after we sit and order for extra cost. BUT the manager of the restaurant for some reason decided that this means that our table has a time limit 2 hours. They were serving the dishes and taking them away very quickly without letting us finish them. They took away all dishes and drinks which we paid for. After all they just threw us away from our table and other people at tables around us which came earlier than we continued to sit. When we told them about that no one informed us that the table with time limit and If we knew that the table with time limit we definitely would go to another place. The manager of the restaurant was absolutely impolite, rude and deceiver, he doesn't respect clients at all. From the very beginning when we booked this restaurant, the lady who is in charge for the group reservations was alvays unavailable, never replied messages and phone calls, we had to call to the restaurant and complained that she doesn't respond only after that she started to answer, and this was all the time, first we called her, she was unavailable, then called and complained on her to the restaurant, then she replied, it is very poor service. If you respect yourselves and get used to a good service and a good food do not go here! Regarding food and restaurant itself. It's more club than restaurant, though they positions themselves higher quality and have a dress code :)) The food is ok, could be better, some dishes were not freshly...

360 Istanbul is located in İstiklal Avenue, moments from Taksim Square. The restaurant is set in a penthouse in a 19th-century apartment building spoiling you with 360 views over Istanbul and a close up of St Antoine's Church steeple. On our first visit to Istanbul seven years ago, we had the most wonderful experience here, enjoying the food, exceptional wine and live dancers and singers. Our second visit, unfortunately, did not live up to our first experience. It feels it is now trading on its name and location. It was disappointing to see the food standard and ambience slip. It needs some love to spark it back up, and decor spruce up is required. It was the same furniture from seven years ago and is tired and needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. It doesn't know if it's a tourist venue or a quality dining experience. Without a dress code, expect to see the place full of tourists heading up for the magical sunset views, of course, and insta pics whilst sitting on their coffee. They are focused on Tripadvisor reviews, so you are encouraged to write one and mention the waiters name, this never feels genuine. The food, wine and cocktails didn't quite match the pricing, but once the service team warmed up to you and realised you were not just there for a drink, they were fantastic. Kudos to Mario, our waiter, for bringing smiles and laughter to our table. Honestly, many more wonderful dining establishments with unstoppable views over Istanbul are more worthy of your money, until they have decided to give it a facelift and refresh.
