Had fun listening to Mariachi. That's it. Tourist trap. I did enjoy my time there but they try to upsell you on their casuelas. We went to the different restaurants within the plaza to try to get the best deal. They all have a minimum of a casuela purchase or entree for each person at your table for the tables with the best view of the center of the plaza. I think we settled for Talamantes. They told us we didn't have to purchase a casuela but we had to buy a shot for of Don Julio 70 or Herradura Añejo for $340 pesos. We agreed. Unfortunately, the tequila they brought wasn't Don Julio 70. Service also sucked. Casuela was delicious but they lied about the tequila. Didn't try the food.

The key here is to go in good company. The food is not fantastic, the totopos were rock hard, although I asked for tostadas and they were nice enough to substitute. The pig's hands here very good and the melted cheese was good was well. Good service and very attentive. The place is old and needs some cleaning and maintenance. The mariachi played for around an hour at 9:30 and I really didn't like people can just go in and listen to it for free, since they sit in the benches super close to you (during a pandemic). Aside from that, it was very fun and the singers are very good. Specially the woman. We got here as a last resort and had fun, but the company was key. The place needs some updating. The drinks were really good though! The cazuela was delicious, but a little on the expensive side (for the place).

Me and my mom went to experience this place because we heard the drinks were really good we ordered two cazuelitas which was 250 each and a order of cold wings which was 200 pesos when they came to charge us the bill was 1800pesos!!! My mom was checking the prices on what they charges us on and they added random stuff to our bill but when we looked up we had 4 waiters staring at us so we felt intimidated from how they were looking at us and we paid and left because we didn’t want any problems if your a tourist I just wanna say to be careful with your surroundings and your money! Needless to say they lost some good customers cause we planned on coming back with the whole family but im never ever coming back.

Very nice atmosphere and live music. BUT...we had a drink at Divas, they tried to take advantage of us by inflating the price of 2 cocktails. I questioned them and they made a new check because I asked to see the menu again. On the new check same items were a lot less. I verified prices with the menu. They also added their Tip, which I challenged because our server never showed up again. SO please check before you pay. Will never consume anything there ever again. Should have talked to a manager. Our check went from 78.00 USD to 63.00 USD very fast. Even then, for 2 drinks each, that's a bit much. They pushed the "casuelas" please don't..here is a picture of lots of grapefruit soda.

Great place for live Mexican music, drinks, and authentic Mexican food. The front tables are reserved for parties purchasing a bottle of expensive tequila. The server was very friendly but the service was a little slow for a Saturday night. There are folkloric dancers and mariachis. After the main show you can select different mariachis or Norteno musicians to sing and play for you, you pay by the song you request. If you pay for a reserved table up front, be prepared to be bombarded with vendors selling their wares and flowers. We had a tough time enjoying our meal with family because of the non-stop traffic of vendors to our table, some of which would not take no for an answer.

We came to El Parian to enjoy the Mariachi performance and a drink. Immediately upon entering the establishment we were swarmed by the many waiters and led to a table in the middle of a large and mostly empty dining area. We were told there is a two drink minimum and asked what we would like before ever being shown a menu. Had we seen a menu we would have left immediately. The prices are outrageous even for a tourist trap. The drinks even worse. We did not order any food thank god. The total bill for 7 peoples drink was over $270. We were shocked and confused and only then were shown a menu. Our bad. Lesson learned. Go at your own risk. At least the Mariachi was nice.
