Highly recommended! We stayed at Abadia de San Pedro, in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, MX, in November of 2023 for 4 nights. The hotel is in an old, restored building with many of the rooms opening onto the beautiful, comfortable courtyard. Our reasonably priced room had all the modern fixtures you would expect in a much newer hotel, and everything worked (solid wi-fi, cool lighting, very quiet, conveniently placed electrical plugs, etc.) as it should. There’s a fully stocked kitchen, where you can refill your water bottles and have guests for drinks or dinner. The Abadia is in a very convenient neighborhood, an easy walk to Calle Juarez and Calle Independencia, where the high end shops are. We had breakfast at a cafe right across the street — friendly people, good food & service, and music on the weekends. Tlaquepaque has much to see even though it’s a small town. It’s full of artisanal crafts of high quality, though you can find less expensive knock-offs too. We loved our stay at Abadia de San Pedro, thanks to the people who owned and ran it. Very friendly and helpful, perfect hospitality. For an overview and good recommendations, I recommend 27 Things to do in...
Read moreThe hotel is excellent! The rooms are thoughtfully appointed with anything you need. The location is excellent, just a few blocks from the town center. This is a great area to stay in. Everything is walkable with lots of shopping, eating and a few museums. Guadalajara is an easy uber away. Our hostess set us up with a private guide for other day trips. She was always available by whatsapp and provided a lot of assistance. Breakfast is served just across the street in a cute little restaurant. The rooms were perfect except for the lovely old upcycled furniture which was a little overwhelming for those with scent sensitivities. ...

I want to give a shout out to Martha, she took such good care of us when we were there. She is awesome, she kept this place so clean and full of love.
Thank you so much! I will definitely visit Tlaquepaque again and...
